from the article he went to Isola at 4 juni and gonne go home 24?Maxtin upbeat about the team and Pogacar saying he wasn't tired after the Giro and that there's absolutely nothing negative. He also stays at altitude until Monday (three days longer than was stated before), which is probably good news regarding his post-Giro recovery and form.

Whats the reason for the extra stay was it duo to taking longer time to recover than anticipated or just want more km in the legs i guess are essential there but if they say nothing is negative I guess its posetive.
My guess would be a longer stay at altitude wouldn't be for recovery. Altitude doesn't enhance that in any way. If he's responding well to intervals or he's rested enough to polish off some long efforts he probably is just doing extra-credit preparation.from the article he went to Isola at 4 juni and gonne go home 24?

I thought maby they wanted to stay longer duo to the start of the camp he needed to recover a bit longer than anticipated before beeing able to push at normal levels and therefor beeing longer kinda thing. But yeah your properly right, it make sense. My guess would be a longer stay at altitude wouldn't be for recovery. Altitude doesn't enhance that in any way. That seems reasonable. Or he thought the views were nice and the weather was betterI thought maby they wanted to stay longer duo to the start of the camp he needed to recover a bit longer than anticipated before beeing able to push at normal levels and therefor beeing longer kinda thing. The GOAT GOAT GOAT.Maxtin upbeat about the team and Pogacar saying he wasn't tired after the Giro and that there's absolutely nothing negative. He also stays at altitude until Monday (three days longer than was stated before), which is probably good news regarding his post-Giro recovery and form.

The situation is quite different though. That was 4th GT in a row for Froome (Tour+Vuelta, Giro+Tour) in which he was competing for the win.Gonne be fun to see another double attempt again been a while since the great Froome did it.
Those dorks running the team will keep selecting climbers over Bjerg and Politt for MSR anyway...Read somewhere their getting Jhonathan Narvaez? He might be a huge piece for Pogacar in MSR if its even doable with how easy the ''climb'' is.
Is it just rumours? Great pickup for Pogacar if its true he can be the last pull maby with Wellens before Pogacar launch at Poggio, Narvaez skills should suit that.
Both would have been needed this year as UAE lost positions before Cipressa, because they lacked roulers. Those dorks running the team will keep selecting climbers over Bjerg and Politt for MSR anyway...
Agree those better fit with Wellens and Narvaez if hes coming? He just need someone to pull for crazy watt, punchy for a decent time like I think Narvaez may be able to do so everyone is on their limit before he goes thermonuclear as the drag from sitting on the wheel is huge on that declines/speed.Those dorks running the team will keep selecting climbers over Bjerg and Politt for MSR anyway...
original article at https://nos.nl/artikel/2525225-het-...t-dat-pogacar-in-de-buurt-zit-van-ons-systeemIn 2020 and 2021 Pogacar won the Tour, in 2022 and 2023 the title went to the calm Dane. Both times it turned out Pogacar underestimated his nutritioning. This year, Pogacar logically seems to have the advantage, although this may not be the case in terms of nutrition. "I don't think Pogacar's team is close to our system, to be honest," says professor Asker Jeukendrup at NOS.
Not another one...Read somewhere their getting Jhonathan Narvaez? He might be a huge piece for Pogacar in MSR if its even doable with how easy the ''climb'' is.

Unchained episode 2 (Tourmalet stage) shows a clip of Niermann laughing maniacally when their team dropped…. O’Connor. That just reaffirmed all my negative emotions towards the guy. Lack of class and lack of respect towards the peloton IMO. I understand you let such emotions show when you drop Pog, but O’Connor? It couldn’t be anything but pure schadenfreude… TBH, Jonas must be quite a nice guy to be able to keep his composure in such environment…Visma guys are so arrogant. Can't tolerate them anymore... they speak like other teams are amateur and only them are professional.

True and indeed but there will always be somewhat different scenarios in these things wont it?The situation is quite different though. That was 4th GT in a row for Froome (Tour+Vuelta, Giro+Tour) in which he was competing for the win.
