Had a talk with Matxin and Mathieu today. Pogacar will even win stage 1 both said, Mathieu even refered to him as the goat and that there wasnt much more to say, never heard he of all people use those words before, heard plenty of others but never him.

Anyway Pogacar will win stage 1 even. He has apparently become even stronger than he was which is ridiculous to think about.
You occupy the hole in my heart (almost) that mou leaves behind

De Plus thinks the heat could be Pog's cryptonite.

"The heat may be killing him. It is common knowledge that he does not like racing in extreme heat. You can work on that, but it is mainly innate or not," the Belgian concludes. "But racing in the heat suits me. Since the focus of this Tour - the final week - is in the south of France, a warm edition is also predicted."

Everyone in cycling sure seems to agree on this point.

Looking forward to see how he has recoverd from the Giro and the double attempt, been a while since last time weve seen it.

Tadej Pogacar has just revealed he caught COVID-19 ten days ago but wasn't badly affected. "Covid is just like a cold now. I stopped training for a day and then was on the rollers. When I got better I trained outdoors
In other words; he didn't follow JV's directive to Kuss to go ahead and race Dauphine' or overexert which was the smart choice.

I'm on the edge of the grid (not quite off the grid) for several days, and I got an alert that "TP confirmed covid". I couldn't believe my eyes, but then I read that it was two weeks ago so hopefully his body is good!
