What overconfidence does to a man. What an idiotic ride. You attacked from far out (dumb) then you get caught and you ride with the guy... Unbelievable

Pogi still has this. He has the team and the initial attack the Vingo can’t stay with. Just needs to pace up decisive mtf’s

Sounds like it might have been a refueling issue but either way, Jonas being this strong now means Pogacar has no chance in the 3rd week either way.

He needs to change the way he rides, but he is unwilling. He wants to destroy people and when it is not working out he cannot think tactically.

He still has time, he just lost one second. Now Vingo is the number one and Giro will maybe catch Pogi.

Where’s mou to explain what happened?

It certainly was a massive blow to Pog today. Not sure he’ll make it in the Pyrenees. JV looks to be gaining momentum while Pog likely is weakening.

Michael Rasmussen thinks there was a lack of sugars. I doubt it, because he would've dropped if that was the case
something happened. there was too much difference between the attack phase, the increase in the advantage on the descent and arriving dead at the finish line without even having the strength to sprint. Ofc cannot be the Giro fatigue 😂

He's still in a much better position than last year. He has the lead by over a minute and has the strongest team for the mountains. If he can't win this year than i don't think he will anytime soon.
I wonder if he chose to ride the Giro because he was sure Vingegaard would not be able to recover from his crash in time to compete for the Tour

I think they are both on fairly equal endurance levels, they just have different strategies for when to conserve energy
