I think it is. Nole is the face of tennis (now) so these stories on social media brings attention to Pogacar. People who like tennis and never saw cycling, will eventually follow cycling (probably the Tour) and more money is coming in.

Yeah, Djokovic just has 15,4M followers and the GOAT of another huge sport globally. Nobody paid that any attention. Not a biggie at all. He might as well not have posted it. Doing nothing.

And posting rides with Pog in the future... nobody would pay to have their products placed or endorsed in those posts! Of course not. Wont generate a thing.

He ended his vacations yesterday. I was expecting 2 weeks off but he spent almost a month off. 6 weeks to prepare a monster peak for worlds

Since you said today he only started training this week, I don't count on him riding Renewi Tour. He'll train, and do Canada before Worlds. Would mean he does 4 weeks of training, before racing again. For comparison, Evenepoel does 3 weeks of training before Tour of Britain, and then EC ITT.

If I'm Bora I'm staying put on stage 6, and maybe stage 8. Think it's up to Visma to control stage 6, but then it's more simple to send van Aert in the break.

No one will drag WVA to that finish. His best chance would be Visma controlling the break. They should hunt stages and not rely on Kuss to somehow win the Vuelta. It won't happen again.

Maybe but it is easy to control the Vuelta. Half of the mountain stages are unipuerto stages
