Did you see the route for Rwanda 2025 Worlds?

I loved it.

Pogacar must be licking his chops.

Elevation gain is boosted by the extension circuit climb, which occurs only once and 100 km from the line. Local circuit is pretty classical but those climbs being close to the line are good for Pogi (plus total elevation gain OFC as well).

It looks pretty classical with the exception that most WC circuits have 15km laps with 1 or 2 hills and this one has 3 pretty hard ones.

It's essentially the hardest section of Amstel repeated over and over and over again

It has 2 hills, not 3. Unless you count the one between laps as 2.

No to the first, yes to the latter.

It's really hard but pure climbers that don't have pedigree in attritional one day races are gonna suck. I would take a good Alaphilippe over Roglic and Vingegaard here any day
There is still a climb of 6 km within 100 km to the finish line. A true pace there and a good Alaphilippe would be dropped like a stone.

It's 7% average. Like I'm not interested what the 7W/kg guys are on I'm more interested in what you are on if you think Alaphilippe drops because of a peloton doing tempo on a 16 minute climb at 100km to go
