It's 7% average. Like I'm not interested what the 7W/kg guys are on I'm more interested in what you are on if you think Alaphilippe drops because of a peloton doing tempo on a 16 minute climb at 100km to go
I said a true pace. Of course a good Alaphilippe would not be dropped in a medium tempo.

Kigali is tough, of course he would not be dropped with a medium tempo or even a hard tempo (after thinking a little bit, you are right @Red Rick) but I think a hard pace could burn a "good" Alaphilippe a little bit and probably he would be tired to follow climbers after Kigali. Of course 2019 Tour's Alaphilippe would be a top contender in this race.

True, but I don't think even Ala in top form can hold a full on Pogacar attack.

It depends on what kind of climb and after what kind of race. He was awesome on short climbs but in terms of pure uphill acceleration I would place MVP at #1 (only on very short climbs OFC).

Pogacar is the best puncher in the world in climbs over 1,5 km but he isn't better than peak Alaphilippe.

The GOAT is what he has become.

@bNator, it looks like i wasn't wrong, and that's why maybe Roglic willl have a free role/ sharing leadership with Pogacar tomorrow.

Some interesting comments here. Probably the fact that Rogla appeared first (with a very interesting background on top of that) plus that PDBF shock are the main contributors to it.

Sure there are some Pog haters in Slovenia. But there are much more fans who adore him and no disrespect to Mrs. Pog, but she doesn’t know the numbers and how Pog compares to Roglic in terms of who is currently more popular…

Roglic will have a free role because it makes more sense tactically.

P.S. It’s a pity the Pogs are actually hurt by the behaviour of a few drunken idiots.

Roglic doesn't have haters in Slovenia but there is zero doubt Pogacar is way more popular now than Roglic, specially around the world. Pogacar is the face of cycling. Media is working around him, ask about him, etc. He comes from a very small country and only Uran has more followers on Instagram, he will probably surpass him next year.
