It baffled me they didnt do any basic specific training such as intervalls 4 X 3mintue VO2 max sessions - after long endurance blocks to induce more fatigue beforehand. Or lactate and fatigue metabolite clearence training such as 3x15minutes at tempo for long blocks at 80% and 6 x 15 second sprints every 10min, again into endurance blocks, which has come to light he does alot now.
The gap in numbers from him to everyone else now is gigantic in all metrics.. Nvm everything else within various training methods which has been highlighted as day and night from before, to positioning and basic stuff. I believe his training went from a Fiat to a well calculated Bugatti in terms of professionalism from a to z.
