Cool video, cheers. I wonder how much she has to answer about Pogacar all the time, must be rather annoying sometimes when you have your own cycling career when your boyfriend is the grim reaper himself.
Yea she gave an interview like last year saying she was trying to only talk about her racing when she races but was happy to talk about their relationship for other things. They probably vetted the questions before hand.

I agree it would be annoying but I guess she is used to it.

Interesting. If I remember correctly an interview I saw from San Millan, he basically explained that the training he provides allow for Pogi to maintain a very high level all year round.

In my opinion, this is the benefit from Z2 and his training formula, basically it is stimulating while not very taxing on the body. So he can basically "train good" all year round and maintain a very high level.

The problem is that this way you never really achieve your full potential, it is like you stay at 80% all the time, of course with someone as talented as Pogi, it is enough to win most of the time. But if you want to get to 100%, you need that big spark of intensity. Which is where I think Pogi has improved massively this past year and what he mentions as " more specific training ".

Her closest comparison in the men’s peloton is someone like Ivan Sosa who can climb really well on their day but lack the all round skills to compete more widely.
Ivan was/is a better climber by far.
Urska has 6 wins, 5 were in Slovenian Nationals and 1 in Volta Valenciana probably after a breakaway.
I don't understand why some people get offended when I say she would be nobody.

Ok, we have different opinions. A nobody is a anonymous rider. Fist of all, Women cycling doesn't have 1/10 of audience compared to the Men cycling. It doesn't matter if she is or isn't in the WT, she is just known as Pogacar's girlfriend.

You fail to understand that you are using offensive language by using the word 'nobody'. You could use more appropriate words to describe Zigart. I have previously mentioned Zigart's deficiencies as a rider, however, I do not need to use offensive language. Anyway, she is a good interviewee and you will see her on more podcasts in the future.

Fair enough. IMHO, she would be a anonymous rider without Pogi.
