The biggest (realistic) achiviement Pogacar could do in one season had to be something like Triple Crown + monument. Even Eddy Merckx didn't do that. He managed double GT + 3 momuments. And he did the Triple Crown, but without any monuments that season.

I don't believe even Eddy won all three GTs in the same season.

In any case, no one can do the Giro Tour double. It's impossible.

I could see Pog achieving the following:

Giro, Vuelta, Worlds

No, but he won two + WCRR, that is the Triple Crown of cycling.

I believe the "Triple Crown" is the Tour/Giro double + World Championship. Merckx and Roche only ones to do it. Maybe I'm mistaken on that (Triple Crown definition here), but I think it should be all 3 GTs. Never been done by anyone.
On a side note, I really really hope Pog does Paris-Roubaix!

The thing I like about Pogačar is he seems to have the spirit and enthusiasm of a kid, almost as if any of us suddenly were given cycling superpowers and had a chance to use them without caution. Sure we'd ride the Tour, but why not the RVV, possibly Paris-Roubaix, simply because we can!

Well, in that case, Steven Roche got the Triple Crown in 87. I disagree with you, however
, or at least I hope you are wrong that the Giro-Tour double victory is impossible. And if any current rider can do it based on age and what he has shown thus far, it's Tadej.

Smol race. Better to be fresher for Liege. Also I think it's akwardly placed now.

Its the biggest/most prestigious one day race after the monuments, isnt it? At least thats how I view it after the route change which made the race great again, although I guess Strade Bianche rivals it, and you can argue G-W. But its probably not worth it after going for Flanders/MSR. If hes in top shape, I doubt anyone can follow him in Liege

This kid is just awesome! He races to win and not afraid to try new races at all. Believing in himself and giving it a go. Following his own path and desires. Not just focusing on one race.

Dont take a rider and character like him for granted!

After re-watching the final 60 km. Pogacar on the second Kwaremont gave me some serious Pantani/ Oropa vibes. The way he was just passing rider after rider it was just insane..
I know some people don't like he is winning often, but he is racing like Contador (except on just about every terrain), always attacking lighting up races..

The good news for Pog if he can sustain this form into his late twenties is he is younger then MVDP and WVA. He’s a remarkable rider that has the potential to win everything. He would have benefited from WVA being in the race and with them.

I would offer a counter point that you never know how long anybody is gonna last. Especially people who are THIS good at young age.
Look at where Sagan is now, and he is still only 31.

There are no guarantees. You do not know if Pogacar has 15 years or 5 years to do it. He better make the best of it when he's at his peak. You might think there will come 10+ chances for Pogacar to win. But for all you know, this could've been his last chance to win RVV.

And lots of riders ride lots of races. Just because you can win them doesn't mean you should ride less.

Why? The season is designed to be able to ride classics in the spring, GTs in the summer and worlds-Lombardy in the fall. I thus don't understand what possibly could be gained for someone of his caliber, to abstain from going for double grand tours in one season, as the greats of the past had always done. It would actually be legacy suicide and, in any case, his team would never allow it to happen.

UAE does not need him to ride 2 GT's in a season if he continues his current level in GT's - The team gets enough value from his performances in GT's and the cherry on top is he can achieve top results in classics, monuments and one week stage races - We've got a bona-fide GT star who is versatile enough to win a range of top races - This ability will be diluted if we follow your version of 'Legacy' suicide.
