Adam Blythe once joked about something like that on Europsport. It just seems... like something which had to have happened, at least once. The use of twins to perform a rider swap during a stage race is a tactic which is just begging to be deployed.

Next step: cloning.
Who's to say it hasn't been?

Luke Rowe said Pog is going to win the TdF (on the recent Geraint Thomas podcast).

He said Pog has been training on the bike for a while now (emphasis on that part) & believes the break from the road bike for a few weeks will actually be beneficial for his form.

So we could be in for some fun here. I think everyone (neutrals especially) should want a very strong Pogačar to fight Vingegaard & Jumbo, just for the sake of entertainment value.

I was very surprised that Pogacar had no chance against Vingegaard in 2022 Tour. Pog was clearly beaten, and had no chance.

Now I think Vingegaard certainly will be even stronger than Vingegaard was in 2022.

Pog also still improves year after year, but his prep wasn’t perfect. Plus, he was clearly weaker than Vinge in 2022.

Jumbo‘s team might be as strong as UAE is, so no differences between the teams.

So in all, I think Vingegaard might win again, beating Pog. Maybe beating him even more clearly than in last year. It‘s now also one year more that Vingegaard spent since his achilles tendon inflammation.

This 2023 Tour will be a TdF of the mountains, and Pog had zero chance at Granon and at Hautacam, against Vingegaard. Vingegaard IMHO is the big, big favourite…

It doesn't matter what happened at Paris Nice. Even gaudu beat Vingegaard.

It was a big beginning of season goal for all three and Vinge was showing to be in good to great form 2 weeks previously. Only stage race this year Vinge got beat down in.

For UAE standards, Pogacar's NC jersey is honestly fine. It's not as terrible as usual UAE NC jerseys but it's also not as great as let's say FDJ's French NC jersey. We just can't go expecting every team to be like FDJ or Jumbo when it comes to designing NC jerseys. It's at least nice that they gave his jersey white sleeves because it at least makes his jersey slightly distinguishable from the usual UAE jersey. Could've made the flag bigger though.

This is below even minimum design standards, they just put the Slovenian flag on the jersey and called it a day. There is absolutely 0 effort here.

They're also obligated to respect the agreement with sponsors, a bigger flag would take up more visible space.

We never really got to hear what was going on but there was some private issue that caused Vingegaard to return to his family when he was already in France for the race, only to return just before the start. It just wasn't the best Vingegaard we got to see there.

I think the number of people thinking that last year's Tour win was purely thanks to Roglic and to his team is just ridiculous. Vingegaard was simply the strongest rider in the race (by far). Somehow Pogacar has this unbeatable aura that people don't like to see damaged. People want to believe in Superman.

Pog definitely had the aura of invincibility but it was gone during the historical stage 11 of last year's Tour. He kinda had it this spring as well but it will never be the same after last Tour's events.

I think you have a point. Pogacar is really the people's champion (and media seems to love him too) but last year he lost his aura of invencible. However, some people don't still believe Vingegaard was a better rider last year and they still think circustances played a very strong role.

Yes, it's also the n-th time you write this nonsense without any argument whatsoever. So good for you and your cult.

Sure Pogi, we believe you. The only ones that believe the story are the guys from the Lanterne Rouge podcast! LOL.

Two out of three bones are completely healed. The scaphoid bone isn't completely healed. It's possible that he can't put as much force on his handlebars as otherwise. The Pike tomorrow will be the big test.

Which part of it is nonsense? The part that Vingegaard was the strongest? Or the part that people want to believe Pogacar is invincible? You seem to belong to the latter group, which does reek of cultism.
