Which, along with the reduced climbing in this year's Giro and his lighter race schedule is why some of us hope Pogacar isn't cooked after the Giro and its still game on for a mano a mano fight with Vingegaard at the TdF. Pogacar just needs to arrive in July healthy with an uninterrupted season. Then it might be at least be interesting.

If he stays healthy and uninjured I think this will happen. Pogacar will keep us hoping until the elastic breaks in week 3 of the TdF. Stages 19 and 21 (TT) are where Vingo likely seals the win. Stage 19 includes the Bonette which is 2,800 metres before the MTF at Isola 2000.
I will be at Isola 2000. No way he loses the race there, surely

it didn't
The science is somewhat unclear about how much value this provide. A recent paper of affects of altitude on hematocrit of elite (but not pro) athletes indicated that the train high/sleep high group had a slightly bigger increase that the train low/sleep high group. But I guess if a rider can’t get to altitude the tent will still be better than not going at all.

let's clear some things up: for classics and monuments there are the big three, which are VDP, Pog, Wout, and between those three it depends on the day and on what terrain they perform. For the Grand Tour, there are only big two, which are Pog and Vingo, Pog was created for the Giro, Vingo for Tour, Vuelta 50:50. for one-week races, there is only one big one, which is Pog, whenever and wherever he performs, he is a clear favorite. For TT, there are three big ones, which are Remco, Tarling and Ganna. everything else is looking at things ultra-fan and has nothing to do with common sense

For classics and monuments there is only a big two as well, MVDP and Pogi. They have 5 big wins each while Wout only has a MSR win from 2020.
