where did you get that from, Kuss was 4 seconds slower than Pog 2022, and 2 minutes slower than Pog 2024If Kuss was a ~minute faster this year than Pogi was in 2022, conditions were not comparable.

Because he looks leaner (because he is) and seemed like he was on a training ride (because for all intents and purposes he was) at Strade Bianche, when the competition was wasted and going on reserves. In short, he's improved and was on another level compared to the rest in Toscana. It's thus no coincidence that MVP, after witnessing Strade, tweeted, ok, now I'm getting worried. Why is he much stronger this time around? Last year he destroyed the classics season.
Trust me (or don't), he's probably 2 kili lighter and has all the power of last year in this period. So, I tell you, his attack on the Poggio will be a watt bomb of greatest magnitude. We have seen 1 race he didnt do last year. Last year he had obliterated everything before Sanremo as well.
I dont doubt hed be the fastest if everyone had to do the Poggio solo, but they dont.
Who wouldn't be nervous with 8.5 w/kg during 12 minutes?!Shaking in your boots for MVDP and Vinge![]()
And that’s not even in Tour shape, probably at or above 9 at Tour shape.Who wouldn't be nervous with 8.5 w/kg during 12 minutes?!
I just hope there will be no motos in the way when he attacks. And that’s not even in Tour shape, probably at or above 9 at Tour shape.
There will be a scooter with @mou driving.I just hope there will be no motos in the way when he attacks.
Have you ever done much training of yourself or really understand any of it? Because it requires very very little knowledge to know 8.5 w/kg for 12 minutes and a 6.6 w/kg FTP would require a track sprinter type power curve with a comically large anaerobic capacity (>100 W' for those curious who actually know about this stuff) while being comparatively absolutely trash aerobically.Pogačar in the spring of 2023:
67kg, FTP 420, 6.26 W/kg, TT unsustainable aero position, very difficult to tolerate temperatures higher than 30°, focus on 15-20min hills.
Pogačar in the spring of 2024:
65kg, FTP 431W, 6.63W/kg, became a TT machine, improved by a minute at the test in Valencia in February and thanks to working with Alex Baccili in Monaco can hold the aero TT position much, much better, works intensively with Core device for better tolerance of high heat and in the sauna, focus on 30-45 min hills.
that's the difference, the Pog from 2024 is an invincible machine without flaws
If pog is going a 1:30-2:00 minutes faster on a climb than last year, the tour will be over before the 3rd week and on the 2nd rest day jonas will pack his bags and go home😄I don't know what got these haters fired up, maybe you don't like the fact that you don't have information about Pog like me, how is it strange to anyone how Pog can be so much better in 2024 and he dominated the spring of 2023, well because he has a new coach who knows the job, unlike the previous one, worked on his 3 weaknesses, which were poorly managed altitude training, higher heat, and unstable TT position and too little TT training. huge funds were invested this year in TT material, a private physiotherapist in Monaco, Alex Baccili, an expert in TT exercises was hired to make it easier to maintain the aero TT position, a study was made of how much 165mm cranks bring him compared to the 172-170 he has so far used it and is one of the few who uses it successfully, his cadence went from 91 to 96 on average, Sola introduced him to heat training with regular training with the Core device, which they had never used before, even though Millan knew about the heat problem on the Tour for the last 3 years and nothing was done, and that's why Pogačar makes a statement that it seems to him that the training and preparation for 2024 is completely new and a shock to the body, a positive shock, and that's why you've already seen Pog on the Strade Bianche like you'll see on the Giro and the Tour only with 20-30 W more and Pog, in whom the heat of the Tour will not consume as much energy from stage to stage as before and who will not come out of the altitude camp before the Tour as overtrained as before, you who believe in what I wrote know that Pog is currently breaking personal records on the TT tests and that it is better on a 25-40min climb by 1.30-2.00min compared to its PB in 2023, remember that the Santa Maria sector in 2022 Pog drove in 21min and in 2024 in 19min, if something is not clear to someone now, never will be.....
I talk about that all the time, but it's hard for you to hear itIf pog is going a 1:30-2:00 minutes faster on a climb than last year, the tour will be over before the 3rd week and on the 2nd rest day jonas will pack his bags and go home😄
Back to the fish packing factory you mean?If pog is going a 1:30-2:00 minutes faster on a climb than last year, the tour will be over before the 3rd week and on the 2nd rest day jonas will pack his bags and go home😄
I believe in the alien pog 2024✊I talk about that all the time, but it's hard for you to hear it
Exactly, where he belongs😁Back to the fish packing factory you mean?
Dont worry, it is the same posters who are always insecure and gets heated taking some sort offense to all of this. They just cant help themselves. It is sad, but it is the reality. If someone had told me that 4-5 natives on this forum would get so fired up, I wouldn't have believed them. Relax, guys, and no matter how bad it is, you'll watch and listen to the Slovenian national anthem many times this year on Eurosport, I'm in awe how did you get fired up and I only had the intention of telling you in advance what you will watch this season, here are my apologies, really😉
Cheer up, it is just entertainment. What happens, happens.I assume the talk in the Pogi/UAE camp must have went something like this:
Ok, so who should we leak information to in order to create hype for Pogi?
How about Benji Naesen? Nah, he's too close to Visma
Ammattipyöräily then? He's a number's guy. Or maybe people like Mihai Simion, Naichaca or The Cycling Podcast team?
No, there's only one person who'll be right for this job: Random Croatian Man!
Anyway, I can't wait for the big showdown on Saturday. I'll be glued to the screen from kilometre zero.
It is actually sad that it is a possible scenario. Just too many motos around and in the way.I just hope there will be no motos in the way when he attacks.
The sad thing is we’re going to have as much footage when Pog attacks as Wilt Chamberlain’s 100 point game due to the EMP going off from Pog’s massive wattage.I just hope there will be no motos in the way when he attacks.
