What was goo about it? With 3-4km to go at the Cipressa everyone was cooked and tempo dropped considerably. Not how you can win this race. Is it easy? No. But the showing was simply not good. Del Toro and Wellens did put in some sacrifice and did well, Novak and Covi as expected but you know - there are two more riders.
Things could have been better, things could been worse.

Saying it was awful is just not correct in my opinion.

Perfect it will probably never be. Not in this race. It is why it will probably be the biggest challenge to win, as it is for anyone.

Ok, then we agree to disagree. Sure, things can always be worse. When half of the team crashes out or whatever. But I cannot come to a point to call this good today.

I’ve gotta say, I think if he could do 8.5 w/kg for 12, Pog really should be able to win solo from the cipressa without even needing a team to launch him

those who followed my tornado work in detail in these weeks could clearly hear that I said that I think that Pog will not win San Remo but that he will conquer the world starting from Catalonia, I have to admit that today I watched a great Pog, better than I thought as soon as he declares at the finish line that this is an easy edition, that he is not tired at all and that he had great legs... my condolences to Kus and Cian, watch and enjoy💯😉

So if Pog wins the Giro and the Olympic Road race this year
MSR and Worlds RR next year
Roubaix and Vuelta in 2 years he would have won all 3 GTs and all monuments

I am guessing he'd be the real Eddy Merckx then

Pog will not lose the Strade Bianche, all the one-week races, all the grand tour races he competes in, Lombardy, Liège and Flanders in the next 4 years, so much for that, the power profile I have about Pog speaks for itself and you say what you want

Why only 4 years? Who will beat him then? Or will he retire early?

“Today was one of the easiest races ever. “It didn't go very fast, especially in the first hours,” Pogacar indicates. According to the two-time tour winner, the race was simply not difficult enough to become a race for climbing types. “But it was close , I really had super legs.”

Fastest Milan-San Remo ever not tough enough for Pogacar: “One of the easiest races ever”
