I get your point but he claims Pogi has been "kind of boring" because we are used to see Pogi doing long range attacks, be agressive in every fu##ing climb. Now look to other GT winners, has really Pogi been passive in this Giro? He was the main entertainer in the first 3 stages in this Giro. People expect him to fire all cylinders in every single stage but he can't do that, he needs to conserve energy for the Tour. I also would like him to destroy the field in stages 6, 8, 10 but let him ride defensively for once.

How is it boring though. He has already won three stages and up by over three minutes. We havent hit any real mountains.

The only way it is "boring" is because of unrealistic expectations and to be frank stupidity, because he has already attacked multiple stages so far.

I think people expected him to really put on some showmanship, with long range attack and complete distruction of the opposition. Granted he absolutely did that in the first TT and he has a race with hystory in July, but to me he was somewhat underwhelming in Oropa and Torino.

What stage could he have possibly tried a long-ranger on that we have had so far that would have made sense? Again, we havent had those type of stages yet. Again, I have to call it unrealistic and stupidity.

Pogacar wasn't boring until now. He is not responsible for this Giro being boring because he already attacked sometimes.

The Giro has been boring just like last year, because of guys like Geraint Thomas who are a disgrace for cycling. They are a bunch of wheelsuckers who are already thinking in the second place.

This Giro would be better with a better route and more top riders, because except for Pogacar, this is a absolutely disgrace. We don’t have here the second line of top riders, we have the third lines.

I'm not even asking for Vingegaard or Roglic in the Giro, certainly with guys like Hindley, carapaz, Tao hart or Mas who are the best GT riders after Vingegaard, Pogacar, Roglic and Remco, would do a lot better in this race.

The Giro hasn't been boring this year at all. Basically every non-mountain stage has been a great watch. It's not always all about the GC battle, which we knew would be a shitshow. Hilly stages have been raced hard, flat stages have been raced hard. Even the annual Po-fest had 20 minutes of echelons.

This has been one of the best Giros in recent years, you're all tripping. The only two genuinely and stages have been Stages 8 and 10. Stages 1 through 7 were all entertaining, Stage 9 was very fun, Stage 12 also excellent, yesterday better than normal, too.

Not long range in the proper sense, but in Prati di Tivo he was uncharacteristically conservative. Also some people expected an attack on the white roads, but i agree on that beeing unrealistic, as the stage was way to easy

I have no patience whatsoever for people who gauge the quality of this Giro with the lack of attacks by Pogacar. Newsflash: he is not there to entertain you.

That being said, the same goes for fans that can only appreciate cycling when it's filled with the drama of a Hollywood blockbuster. You have to do your homework in order to learn how to appreciate GT, just as if you go to the Louvre and don't know anything about painting you will come out from there stating that The Avengers are much more entertaining.

He had already taken time in the TT and it wasnt much more he could gain from a big attack. It would have been pretty unwise. Not the hardest of climb and it was a good stage to use his team. Claim the victory.

It was only like 13km of white roads... again unrealistic expectations and stupidity, as you also see.

With +3 minutes there is no need for a long ranger anymore, but maybe he wants to make a statement tomorrow or on the Monte Grappa stage. It would very much be for the fans in that case, because tactically he doesnt need to.

The others racing so defensively and not being close to the same level is the most deciding factor here. It kills the "entertainment" and most GTs are like this. People always build it up too much in their heads. Most people on here have seen close to +60 GTs or some even +100 probably. A majority of GTs goes like this and especially when someone is much better than everyone else.

Realistically this Giro is going really well for him.

EDIT: Great timing: I'm watching an interview with Ryan Villopoto, and he said "It was my job to race a dirt bike, I was paid to win races, hopefully fans found that entertaining."

RV=10 pro motocross/supercross titles, 83 pro wins.
