7 W kg /FTP. . Zone 2 for houuuuurs on 350-360 watts. What can they do?

He can just ride away in a pace noone else can sustain for more than 5min without blowing up weve seen it in all races entire year but it seems he is just getting better aswell. Looking good for next year I must say.

In fact he said 320-340 watts for 5 hours. Something 90% of the peloton will struggle to hold for 3 hours

Race organizers should pay Pogacar big money to avoid races.
Well... I was actually just thinking that Pogi should skip 'Tre Valli Varesine'

'cause:
-he won the WC (on the 29th of Sept.) which was the most important race, and the 'Giro dell'Emilia' that was missing in his palmares - twice second - today (5th Oct).
-both by attacking early, btw

Given the above and the fact that he already won 'Tre Valli', and it's not a race like Lombardia or Flanders were someone like Tadej would care that much about winning it multiple times, why not skip it, on the 8th of October, and simply be ready for the Lombardia on the 12th?

I wouldn't hurt, when it comes to P.R. too, to leave something to the others.
Just skip the 'tre valli'. Why not?

Baby Pog is starting to grow up (26 young in cycling age) and oh boy is this starting to become something else:sweatsmile:

As far as this dominance and becoming boring is concerned, did people complain that Merckx was boring in 1974?

I find it hard to explain but I am enjoying seeing this unfolding? Maybe I will change my mind by this time next season if this continues? But no doubt all the riders in the peloton are now psychologically racing for 2nd. The only possible exception is Vingegaard in the Tour.

To me Sky were very boring because of their train and the way they would strangle races. But if not for arrogant Dave Brainsford I might have liked Sky, at least when Froome was leading (2012 was the most boring Tour I've ever followed). I don't find Pogacar's dominance boring just yet, just quite remarkable.

yeah no. We’re not going to skip races to not win so much. Get it while you can because a career can change in a blink of an eye
