I agree, I brag about that for 2 months 😀.
But I don't think one race day in April impacts his late-season peak so much.
I think he can rest after Flanders without preparing LBL. It is not about one race, it is about being prepared for 3 more weeks.

More important than being faster, I just hope that the new bike handles well as one crash can ruin a season.
Thats what i fear most with the new bike. With no more flat handlebars it takes a while to get used to. Let it be a safe journey for 🐐🤞

The program is looking like he is Not doing the Giro. Between the last race LBL and the Giro there is Not much time for proper Training (11 days maximum) and between Giro and tour there is also Limited time (4 weeks Maximum).

I dont know why he is teasing on ving, remco & rogla when it comes to his giro participation. Its quite clear with this heavy spring calendar he aint doing giro so could easily say no giro but he doesn't want anyone to have a sense of calm. savage😂

Also, looks like UAE’s TDF team will stay almost the same, with the only change being Ayuso. I wonder who will fill his spot. The always reliable Majka? McNulty? Vine? Torres? An additional rouleur?

Say he adds in the Vuelta if feeling good after the Tour, how many race days are that then with this schedule compared to last year? (he also has to aclimate for Rwanda WC, might be short on time)

Nothing is impossible after this season though with this guy.
If you add the Vuelta (assuming he rides Italian classics as well) that's ~69 race days. Compared to this year's (if you refer to it as "last") 58 days.

Are we looking forward to the most boring classics season ever? and yes I include Gerrans winning LBL in that.
It will heavily depend on the fact, which other riders will take part in the races I would say.

Here an assumption from my side:
Strade Bianche: Van der Poel and perhaps van Aert could be the only riders who could be threat to Pogacar here. All other riders are just fighting for places behind Pogacar.
Milan- San Remo: Always completely open and that will be also the case this year.
E3 Saxo Classic: Van der Poel and perhaps van Aert or Pedersen could be the only riders who could be a threat to Pogacar here.
Gent-Wevelgem: The fact, that van der Poel as the best cobble rider couldn´t win this race this year means, that it will also be a tough one for Pogacar to win.
Tour of Flanders: Van der Poel and perhaps van Aert or Pedersen the only riders who are a threat to Pogacar here.
Amstel Gold Race: van der Poel the only rider, who could perhaps be a threat here.
Fleche Wallone: Difficult so see anyone being a threat here to Pogacar, perhaps Nys...
Liege-Bastogne Liege: If Evenepoel starts he would be the only threat for Pogacar.
