Broe said ‘24 pogi was 8-10% better than the previous pogi. Not sure if this is shorthand claim or visma level number assessment.

In youtube, we have a very interesting podcast with Javier Sola about training:
- If it is important to measure FTP in a protocolized test.
- Work load in a week for professional and amateur riders.
- Strenght training.
- Altitude training.
- Acclimatization to heat before competitions.

It is in Spanish though. For a portuguese guy it is not difficult but for english people, it may be harder

Nope, no longer the GOAT it seems when some 17 year old from Belgium can follow and get his phone out to film it ...https://cyclinguptodate.com/cycling...irectors-gave-me-a-pat-on-the-back-afterwards
"A 17-year-old promising Belgian cyclist Quinten Muys has stories to tell to his friends. While riding up the Coll de Rates with few teammates, the rider of Crabbé-Dstny (U19 team linked with Lotto Dstny) suddenly saw a certain Tadej Pogacar whizz past during training in Spain. The cycling phenomenon had set his sights on the KOM of the notorious climb. Muys switched up the gears and gave his best to hang on to the Slovenian's wheel for next two kilometers. ... We jumped behind him and I was even able to get my phone out to film. Afterwards I was able to stay in Pogacar's wheel for another 2 kilometers. I was pushing about 480 to 490 watts. In the last corner I had to let go when he pulled through on the steep section."

Mou is still reading us and replies to our posts on X so I think that it doesn’t make any difference. In that case imo he should be unbanned.

I said Dauphine to Tour to Vuelta to Worlds to Lombardia is a long stretch.

Especially after starting the season 2-3 weeks earlier, compared to last season, and targeting the classics this year.

He will do Vuelta again, when it makes more sense or something unforeseen happens. Like crashing out of the Tour in the first week or something. It is just not a priority atm and he could do everything else he wants.

You always have to sacrifice something. Last year he skipped the classics to go for double Giro-Tour.

This year he likely skips Vuelta to target classics, Dauphine, Tour, Worlds + Lombardia.

He can do it when it fits his schedule more. Professionally and personally.

We will see though.

You would have to go back to the 90's or earlier to find any training philosophy that excludes strength of core plus legs, and even the upper body.
