He may attack on Cipressa not because it's a perfect place to attack but because he tried repeatedly (and failed) on Poggio so time for some change.

I still think it's possible that UAE with the strongest possible line-up can tire guys out on Cipressa and make absolutely thermonuclear pace on Poggio but we will see.
Same (think he will attack at cipressa with his current level and shred it into pieces with Narvaez full sprint at last, but dont know, lets see, if so they obv have to start at Berta aswell) UAE wont make that mistake more regarding the riders they send there. They definitely have the potential to do way more damage than before.

Thermonuclear is coming eitherway now with his current level, thats the one thing thats certain, might aswell start the countdown 3,2,

The most emblematic climb in Flanders is no longer important in the race (RVV).
Exactly.

LBL has had big chances as well.

PR does new sections or the hairpin last year before Arenberg.

Lombardia has different routes.

MSR is probably the monument with the least amount of changes or tweaks. And they have done it throughout the history of the race. So it wouldnt be strange if they did at some point in the future again.

Changing the route of MSR is a repetitive topic of conversation here, particularly in that Pogi has desires onto the race and as is, is by far one of his most competitive challenges. We don't always have to quote someone to partake in an ongoing conversation

He is not alone in Calpe. He was caught in training with Laengen and other UAE rider. He really loves Calpe to build his base level and get those 5 hours of pure zone 2 at 320-340 watts.
Pogacar watts are whatever. Im at 550 watts normalized for 3 -4 hours without breaking a sweat. Pogacar who.

Bagioli for instance when he tried to follow Pog(seated) attack in WC at Witikon, Bagioli managed around a peak 550-560power for a 4min avarage normalized and still got blowned away. I might be civilization last hope, all doomers pm me in my dm.

MSR is originally for sprinters and it should be.
No, it wasn't. In 1997 people were surprised when Zabel won it. Since then it has often been a sprint with a big group. Before that there were climbers like Fignon and Chiappucci who won it. With the modern equipment and preparation there are just more riders who can handle climbs like Poggio and Cipressa, so a sprint has become more likely. Zabel and Telekom have really changed the face of the race.

Fair nevertheless I still feel the point stands in that its at least the monument out of all 5 thought of for the ''sprinters'' more than the other 4 which was the point and in that adds diversity.

To be strictly true the Poggio was added about sixty years ago because the race had become the preserve of sprinters.

MSR never was a race for sprinters. Specialization started in the 90s, MSR was already in edition number 80.

I still see the look of Bagioli peeling off after trying to stay on pogi's wheel. Looked like a dog trying to catch a full speed car on the highway.
