Calm down. Vingegaard is a fierceful opponent but I'm just happy, Vingegaard vs Pogacar is what I dream and want as a cycling fan. This is the pinnacle of the sport.

I know Pogi is not afraid of Jonas but going three times against Jonas before this year WC would be too much even for him if he wants to be in good shape for Rwanda. I can see him still going to Giro.

He won't go. I think Vingegaard will not have a chance against peak Pogacar in the Vuelta. Route is tailormade for Pogacar.

His team is insane, better than UAE to be honest. I hope Almeida and Yates show an amazing level and are able to produce a hard tempo for Pogacar's attack. It will be important to be in yellow after Peyragudes.

It only has been wishful thinking, always was (clearly proven this year aswell). As we both know but indeed funny af.

Imagine some few actually tried to claw themselves to believe that based on a year where Pogacar had 3 weeks on the bike before the Tou,r with zero altitude training and on top of that rode the actuall race with a broken wrist and thats their conclusion, its just laughable nothing else, and always was the case - fast forward one year he broke all records setting new w/kg records on every MTF there was in the Tour while completing the infamous Giro/Tour double, with a gap which is not even funny, while everyone was producing their best numbers ever. Its just not worth taking serious honestly.

He did altitude training. Everyone knows he had a suboptimal preparation but you don't need to lie.

Meant proper altitude training my mistake. Anyway water under the bridge, past is always that as now he is in a different stratosphere to that.

Yes, he will. I'm very intrigued to see his performance in TTs after seeing his new position. He looks way more with Remco now in a TT bike so I expect improvements in TT stages. And he is also improving and working more his core so his position must be way more optimized. UAE tour is just around the corner, it will be interesting to see him against Ganna.

Im intrigued to see that aswell. He improved alot already last year position wice, and talks now are he substantially further improved. He was already very elite even in flat TT's already last year, so thats gonne be interesting, is it comfirmed Ganna are going to UAE Tour?

Yes but last year TT was not important in the Tour. This year it will be. I don't think Vingegaard can drop Pogacar in the mountains so if he doesn't gain time in TTs to Pogacar, I don't see him winning the Tour

Ganna doesn't race UAE Tour since 2022. I'm guessing he will comeback this year. That TT is totally flat, perfect to see if he is improving or not in flat TTs
