Facts or alternative facts...Nope, I'm only sharing facts. But you seem to trust/believe mou so facts for you are probably "uninteresting and unproductive".

Fingers crossed for no crashesGoats season starts today. I hope everyone enjoys it.🥳
My biggest concern is if he tries to lead out molano for the sprints against the worlds best sprinters like he did in giro that's the only thing I don't like about himFingers crossed for no crashes
Yeah, Pogacar needs excitement when he is racing and sometimes it is not a good thing. Doing a leadout for Molano is one of those things he shouldn't do, specially because Molano can't win a sprint even with a perfect leadout. My biggest concern is if he tries to lead out molano for the sprints against the worlds best sprinters like he did in giro that's the only thing I don't like about him
It was in terms of watt saving/aero which are quite ironic and a scary thought to be frank given all Pogacars solos last year..Danish Eurosport said right from UAE Tour - that M. Bjerg have said that the new bikes is a game changer and a true weapon. And the old bike was quite bad and was one of the worst in the pro peloton in the wind tunnel.
Great news. Hope to see him ripping the peloton apart in these flat roadsSo Pogacar and UAE is in fact rolling out the new Y1rs at this race. Their all on it.
Uphill you can launch earlier.Launched with 300 to go. Even on a flat finish, that's already too early.

Like does this thread even understand the basics of aerodynamics?
But he did that last year, on multiple occasions.Does it have to? Can we be sure basic aerodynamics even applies to Pogacar? It would explain a lot if he could split the air infront of him before it get's in the way!
There is still aerodynamics at 5%... he launched early and went out of gas.Uphill you can launch earlier.

Now 2 stages where we can assess his true shape. I don't expect him to be out of top 3 tomorrow. That's more or less what I expected after off-season full of selfies and non-bike activities. Hopefully he won't exceed the time limit in the mountains.
Yes and no. Being in the wind matters less, but by the same metric you're going slower so 300m takes longer. Milan's all-out sprint was about 20s, after being led out by Pogacar for 10s, which is relatively long for a max effort. A flat 250m sprint takes normally like 12-13s, no?Uphill you can launch earlier.

More like 15-17 seconds.Yes and no. Being in the wind matters less, but by the same metric you're going slower so 300m takes longer. I think wind will play a huge role.Definitely. Tarling is maybe too good on dead flat road, Bissegger is also strong but Pogi should make top3.
Just as I suspected, he’s washed.
Van Eetvelt era begins.
