Yup. I don't remember who (in UAE) said "his legs never hurt" refering to Pogacar but it is very accurate when we see a classic like this where he goes like a mad man every single cobbled climb.
I didnt really get mad man here. That was more accurate for MSR.

Here he looked more composed and just rode them really hard. He had more time and climbs to work with here.

Must be quite demoralizing to race against Pog in big races. Wonder what Vinge, Remco and the rest thinks now, after another otherwordly performance?
And MVDP who is just an amazing rider. Wonder what he thinks? If he wins Ronde a fourth time when Pog doesn't race, no one will say he is the king of Ronde, knowing that is Pog. Unless he beats Pog in Ronde, Pog is the king.

There are not many big races left where Pog can be challenged. MSR, probably PR, maybe FW and a rather flat Worlds.

He was suffering a bit on the Paterberg, not fully recovered from the effort that had dropped everyone and in the end he went deeper than usual. Otherwise nothing to say, the strongest guy won, hard to say anything negative about his performance.

He was not fully recovered but he still gained one second on Paterberg. He probably looked in pain but what I saw after Paterberg is clearly a rider not close to his limit.

A very special performance. Had to launch it with very little whittling down from his team as his 3 strongest domestiques all crashed beforehand then methodically cranked up the hurt on every climb then didn’t panic about others catching back up on the flats between each climb.

I admitted my doubts at 30km to go in the race thread but final Kwaremont was almost a carbon copy of 2023 with a very similar point where separation was made almost immediately.
