With respect to comments about winning by 10 minutes. It’s right and that margin is completely unnecessary. Pogi can win by 2-3 minutes without digging any deeper (assuming he is that strong). And then go to the vuelta!

First, he needs to avoid crashing out in the first week. Stages 1,8,9 are very dangerous.

If Gianetti says this is why he improved a lot, I guess we have to accept that is the reason for his improvement. Sounds like a logical explanation

So should he say the boring answers '' i was motivated to attack b/c i lost 40 secs on the TT'' If we're in a business of splitting every word a person says it will be hard to have a normal life. But speaking of respect, pog always respected his rivals. On stage 1 after his win in the sprint he said after the finish jonas told him he was on the limit on the last climb & he said he was relieved to hear that b/c he was also on the limit there. If pog was an arrogant as those who said he was he could have said different. Dont be tricked by media washing more than sports washing

- Pogi shape is going to crash out on the 3rd week and he will lose 5 minutes in one single stage.
- Pogi is going to fall and get injured.

I‘d guess most riders‘ girlfriends have jobs and those are incompatible with sitting in some hotel at altitude

Riders often take their family to altitude camps. And Urzka is a WT rider who finsihed 6th in the Suisse.

Someone here with better sense of history will remember the years when children started to appear on the podium with winning riders. In the US we were brainwashed with TV writers that had Greg LeMond's marriage and wife, kids(?) Warm fuzzy stuff, As pre packaging the backstory.. Gunshot recovery and on and on.
Pogacar doesn't see a big downside of over exposure, including the inner workings of his relationships.. It's probably OK because cycling is so small and he can walk through majority of world airports or streets and nobody would notice him. Definitely some danger in adding his significant other to training if things go wrong temporarily or in Paris..did your decision to include your girlfriend in TDF prep cause you to lose?
Don't know if adding that variable has lots of upside. I think his current public image marketing has healthy dose of his very outward good deeds and has lots of content of family moments on the bike.. Oh look my GF and I out training, ect..See me give stuff away, ect.
If I was UAE no way in the world Pog household is there as pre tour distraction.. And double down, if she is there, well kept secret.. Another team signal that Pogacar is calling the shots at UAE not the other way around.. Can't imagine those conversations when riders ask if there is room for their wives,GF or in the case of Del Toro, his mom!!! LoL!

Its true that Pogi has an exceptionally close relationship with his wife. They are together for years and they still have the same vibe as a new couple who know each other for a couple of months and are in the " honeymoon phase".

But I think this is because of their character they are probaby slightly co-dependent for some reasons... it seems to work for now though.

She was also went to altitude with him before the giro last year. In an interview she said it’s convenient because she’s never been in a team which pays for women to go to altitude so she had to pay herself.

Pretty sure they only ride together on rest days and the rest of the time they have their own schedules.

She will go down from altitude earlier anyway I suspect because Slovenian nationals are next weekend.
