Going to the Vuelta might not be the best decision if he wants to be in top shape in the WC and Lombardia. I could see him doing the same races he did last year after the Tour plus maybe the Worlds TT.

Worse. Pogacar is better in the rain. In another scenario, it would be good news. But with this advantage comes an increased risk of accidents.

Adam Yates looked like he could be more helpful. Let's hope he has a good attitude tomorrow and Pogacar isn't left alone or only with Narvaez against Visma's attacks.

You are right but it's the same thing all over again. When will he win the Vuelta? Next year, Tour+WC+GdL is possible again. In 2027 the same. In 2028, he will race to win both the Tour and Olympics. Is he waiting for 2029 to win the Vuelta? Awful decision if he wants to win every GT

I thought the same thing, but I've changed my mind.
Tour-Vuelta is very demanding physically. He's at his best age and physical shape to do it.

Next year and 2027 World Championship are also good for him,. Is he going to wait until 2028? He could have accidents, and the older he is, the harder it is to double in GT.

Almeida was also in great shape last year, but he's always getting sick or having accidents in GT. It would be a mistake for Pogacar not to go there just to reward Almeida. We already saw what happened last year.

He needs to think about himself, not the team's pressure for promises to other riders.
