Wow just wow... Pogacar beating Vingegaard with ease but Pogi sneezed so he's simply human. That's it ladies and gentlemen, we got ourselves a match, Pogacar can be beaten.Yep today shows he is also human. After a crash & 2 hard mountain days its understandable to lose a few percentages of form but him missing the win today tells me now he wont give any big mountain to breakaway including la plagne as he wants to break his 6 stage wins of last year
Visma will think they might have a chance so they will go crazy on stages 16 and 18.Yep today shows he is also human. They should put riders in the break and try stage wins. However, I also think this strategy can help Vingegaard because he can bridge to them after a decent leadout from his team. The dilemma for Visma now is should we work all day to secure Pogi another stage win or should we instead send team members in breaks to possibly secure a stage win and hence to do nothing GC orientated. Unless UAE brings it back and Pogi goes for it and in such case as plan B try to win a stage with Jonas.

Pogacar is in another world right now, of course it's hard to believe they will crack Pogacar but we never know in the Tour.Maybe last year not any more. Rogla has a slim chance of bridging and still that is a long shot, Jonas or Lipo would never be allowed, on where somebody like Lipo might get some slack, gain a second or two, on where that is a no go for Jonas. Unless i guess Jonas finds that 10% extra, doubt it. We'll see.
Jorgenson isn’t any kind of bait, he’s 32’09” back. He’d need a huge Oscar Pereiro break to catch back up.Jorg is the bait. How do they play it? Let UAE tear their wheels off trying to keep him out of the break? Invest energy keeping him close and drafting Vingo into a launch place?
UAE were trying for a little while but didn’t have the team to control it so then just started hoping he wouldn’t win. That theory is shattered by Simon's victory the other day. They did nothing to prevent it.
I read on X that they made an exception because he's Adam's brother. I think UAE will care more about he won the Giro against them. LOL
I don't think they have anything against Kuss that they don't have against Simon.
I think if they can get pogi/uae wasting energy on Jorg. I don’t think it matters how far back Jorg is. Bad bloodJorgenson isn’t any kind of bait, he’s 32’09” back. He’d need a huge Oscar Pereiro break to catch back up.
Nothing extinguishes bad blood more then beating said rider by 45 plus minutes and his leader by 6 plus minutes.I think if they can get pogi/uae wasting energy on Jorg. I don’t think it matters how far back Jorg is. Bad blood
They going to let him win a stage?
If they go crazy on 16 it'll be over for them. By the way; how will that work?Visma will think they might have a chance so they will go crazy on stages 16 and 18.
I really doubt Pogacar is that vested in any rider to trash his own strategy. Matteo will have to have someone dangerous with him to prompt action by UAE. Not sure who or how they created the "bad blood" scenario unless you're talking about guys fighting to get feed bottles. Hardly serious, is it?I think if they can get pogi/uae wasting energy on Jorg. I don’t think it matters how far back Jorg is. Bad blood
Ignoring Jorgenson is really more insulting now.I think they are more interested in their own stage wins, then in stopping Jorgenson from getting one. They want to win the mountain stages I think, so wasting energy on chasing Jorgenson doesn't seem like the way to go for me.
No it is not. Jorgenson acted like tough guy first week and was pretty cynical after they waited him on stage where Tadej crashed. I think Tadej is in incredible form right now and just wants to play with Jonas and Jorgenson. I also think he wants to skip Vuelta but don't want to let Jonas win it.Ignoring Jorgenson is really more insulting now.
The pbm is in 2025 his level in his off days are equal to jonas' normal days. If they are to win this tour they need another col de la loze crack from him which i can't see it comingVisma will think they might have a chance so they will go crazy on stages 16 and 18.
After Stage 4 and Stage 10 when Jonas followed Tadej on these short hills people were losing their minds.Visma will think they might have a chance so they will go crazy on stages 16 and 18.
I expect Pog launching 2-3 kms into the base of Ventoux.
He said: 'Too much flash'' referencing to the cameras flashing him. It was planned from Narvaez to do the sprint leadout. Not a chance. No one really mentioned it yet but after Hautacam right as he pulled up the camera came to him and he said something to the effect “whew, was too much”, then the camera panned away. Pog also looked extremely tired in the cool down.
Then in the post race interview he said Navarez didn’t get the joke and launched earlier than he expected so he just committed to it. Naturally it worked and Pog cracked everyone.
But at the TT he said he was starting to crack at the last 1 km but he pushed through. In stage 14 he just defended and didn’t attack like he usually does.
Pog is tired. Good news he can soft pedal today, rest up tomorrow, and be fresh for week 3 but he isn’t going to repeat the Hautacam attack. He might attack with 5km to go but not 10+ km. Too risky at this point and he doesn’t need to.
