No one could argue pog is even close to his dauphine level. Today showed everything we've been talking about the last week. His superbangeres,ventoux & loze displays aren't gifts rather his level was a bit below b/c he made his team work today for the stage but couldn't deliver the top numbers to execute it

He was pacing in the headwind for around 8 km or so on 7%. Of course this is what is going to happen.

Very glad that Jonas didn't win at least. Never seen someone ride this destructively.

pog's level in this tour will remain one of the biggest question marks for me. I really believe he looked better at the dauphine (part of that is linked to the bike he has used at the tour). I have no idea of whether he really did not have the legs or he simply decided to not win all these stages

Its impossible to think he wants to gift the stage b/c he made his team work super hard today but his level is below his usual level idk maybe they dont want to tell us if he has some illness

Narvaez and Wellens overperformed but they are not climbers.

There was obviously a pre-Hautacam Pog and post-Hautacam Pog but the gap is concerningly big between the two.

He just won the Tour de France without Vingegaard having droppe him down on any stage. Vingegaard all year focusing in Tour, Pogacar doing Roubaix.

Pogacar did everything he could to win in 2022, but Vingegaard has been content with Pogacar not winning a stage. The conclusion is that it has eaten away at Vingegaard's morale, which has been conformed by Pogacar not winning a stage when Pogacar is winning the twice TDFs than Vinegaard .

But I'm the one with the negative opinions 😅

those are two possible explanations, at the dauphine he looked better (apart from the tt) and he clearly had a cold/sore throat. I add another 2: 1) the crash, nobody mentions it because he's pogacar, but he took a big fall on his hip and had a large wound on his arm. 2) the bike, as I said many times, I continue to believe that when he uses this bike he's not comfortable and he doesn't perform as well. And after 3 weeks of riding this bike his body might gradually feel it and his performance continues to decline.

No vuelta this year.

Unfortunately have to agree but the team needs to find out what was the reason if its illness or this ugly y1 bike

Compare this to Stage 19 last year where he did the 2nd best performance ever.
Today he was a shadow of himself.

Maybe he underfueled again.

Sometimes we forget that Pogacar had congestion and had an accident.

I don't even want to think if it had been the other way around. They would have been crying all Tour de France about Vingegaard having had an accident.

Maybe we can now realise that Pog 2.0 prefers the heat.
His best numbers this year were in scorching heat.
His worst in cooler temps and rain.
Coincidence? I think not.
