No wonder Matxin and Gianetti were desperate for Pogacar to be in the Vuelta.
It's Vingegaard's first win, aside from the Algarve time trial. He finished second to Pogacar in the rest of the stages. Almeida and Ayuso have nothing to do, no matter how much smoke they throw at them.
Ayuso especially disappointing. He's good at these finishes. I expected him to be second.
I wonder if they'll cry so much about dominance this Vuelta. Vingegaard, without Pogacar, can win all 10 mountain stages. They're easy to control, single- mountain stages.
