And if I told you he was better than Pogacar?
No. Pogacar won Lunigina (junior) Friuli Venezia, Course de la Paix, and Avenir. Avenir with Slovenia, but they were in Ljubljana that season. Podium at the European Championships, top10 WC and 4th in Tour Eslovenia.
Pogacar's results were in more important races in that categories. Not just the Avenir, Lunigina, Course la Paix, or Venezia, also are most important stage races.

In 2018, Primozic was almost 2,000 places behind Pogcar in the ranking. In 2017, he was 1,900 places behind. Definitely not

Primozic said he used to beat Pogacar when they were younger. Teenagers basically

Next year, he will do a similar schedule but I hope without AGR, FW and UAE Tour. This would reduce his race days to 5 before the Dauphiné.
There is no way he is doing Dauphine next year. MSR-RVV-PR, LBL- Romandie (or TdS)TdF-Vuelta-WCRR and Lombardia would be perfect schedule if he wins this year WC double. Before MSR maybe Strade but i hope not. Omloop and E3 would be maybe nice as preparation.

I agree. The schedule will be something like that. Pogacar does not care about the Dauphine anymore - he won it once, ticked it off and that is it. No point in doing it again. Not to mention he might have peaked too soon this year because of the Dauphine (which might have been one of the reasons for his "burnout" at the Tour).

He will ride either Romandie or Suisse instead as preparation for the Tour and tick off a different "big 7" one-week race.

Why no Dauphiné? It's the best prep race for the Tour.
He said this year before Dauphine he would like to tik off this race and it sounds like he will try to do it with all one week stage races (big 7). He went just 2 times there and if he wants to do TdF-Vuelta double then Dauphine is really waste off time. He will go after Romandie or TdS next year, I am 100% sure.

I don't agree with you. Romandie after LBL? No way.

He doesn't care about the Vuelta and he is thinking on TdS? Nah. If he faces Vingegaard, he will try to destroy him once again.
Why do you think he doesn't care about Vuelta? Tell me one time where he really didn't looked gassed after TdF? Last year maybe.. but he was going 100% after WC title. Also LBL-Romandie is not such difficult task if he does just MSR-RVV-PR and LBL before that. One day he will do it (LBL-Romandie) and i believe it will be next year. If he does that schedule he needs only 2 season peaks (if Jonas skips Vuelta) and that would make sense.

Vuelta was his first GT, did a wonderful ride there. A dream come true the way it ended, 3 stage wins, best climbing performance in the last mountain stage, best young rider. After this success, he never showed there again.

Some people are like "Pogacar is the face of cycling so let's say controversial things about him just for me to be relevant." Specially coming with false arguments.

Now that Ayuso is gone they are going after the new scapegoat and first they will try with the big fish, after likely realising is out of their league and to settle on the little fish.

Weak argument by Ten Dam. I liked him as a rider but this is so weak.

Flandres + Roubaix double requires another form peak and is more energy sucking than the rest of his spring races combined. If he does Strade + MSR + Tour of Basque + Liege then he'll be hungry to kill Tour and Vuelta. Not happening of course.

Teddy would've fired Gianetti and Matxin had they opposed his PR participation.

Weak spring schedule and he already told he wants to race PR next year.
I would love to see the schedule I wrote here yesterday.

SB
MSR
RVV
PR
LBL

Maybe this lighter schedule can allow Pogacar to race Tour-Vuelta.

Every time I see Soler in the breakaway, I remember that Pogacar lost two stages because of him and Sivakov. Sivakov had been ill, but Soler is better every year in the Vuelta.

It's one of the changes I´d make to next year's team. They have to go to the Tour at 100%, not expecting to be at 100% for the Vuelta's breakaways.

These spanish riders find another gear in their beloved Spain. I don't know why. They also don't.
