Remco doing this ITT was the best that could happen, a blessing in disguise. They will want to ride this race straight now and thats only to Pogacar's benefit
I'll be rooting for Pidcock tomorrow to beat him and show him how to combine Vuelta + World's.Favorite win of his career was really the WCRR. Hard to see him skip a WC (suited to him) to race the Vuelta for sure.
Yes, because Pidcock is obliged to win the Tour.I'll be rooting for Pidcock tomorrow to beat him and show him how to combine Vuelta + World's.

And his peak in spring was for Alula. If Pogacar does this, he'll be slaughtered.Pidcock didn't do the Tour.
Pidcock didn't race the Tour. Don't say ridiculous things...I'll be rooting for Pidcock tomorrow to beat him and show him how to combine Vuelta + World's.
The problem is Pogacar being isolated right after Mount Kigali. There's no urgency to destroy the peloton on Mont Kigali. The peloton gets whittled down by itself and even if the peloton remains somewhat big half the group are corpses getting dropped every climb and coming back on the intermediate sections.
Pogacar needs the race to be more like the men's U23 race than the women's races seen so far. There's no urgency to destroy the peloton on Mont Kigali. He’ll have by far the most teammates at the end. Just not from Slovenia but that won’t matterPogacar needs the race to be more like the men's U23 race than the women's races seen so far.
The Ethiopian and Swiss were very strong, but they had to close all the gaps alone, while Spain teammates prevented Paula Ostiz from wasting energy.
If Pogacar hasn't recovered from the Tour, it would be better for him to win like today's girl, but today's girl had the strongest team, and that won't be repeated tomorrow. If he's in bad shape, he won't win anyway because he hasn't strong team, so we have to hope he isn't, and what's best for him is for the race to be similar to yesterday's, so the leaders are left alone soon. Not surrounded by Belgians, Australians, and French.
I believe he is in good shape so a harder race will be good for him unless the race is completely in pieces before Mount Kigali.Pogacar needs the race to be more like the men's U23 race than the women's races seen so far.

You could totally see that backfiring in exactly the same way the mens U23 race strategy did.Remco doing this ITT was the best that could happen, a blessing in disguise. They will want to ride this race straight now and thats only to Pogacar's benefit
They raced like Widar is the second coming of Pogacar. And looking to his body type, he is destined to not accomplish what he did/does in the U23.You could totally see that backfiring in exactly the same way the mens U23 race strategy did.
In an interview with his federation, he will say world championship, which was also Slovenia's first WC.Favorite win of his career was really the WCRR. Hard to see him skip a WC (suited to him) to race the Vuelta for sure.

It’s a hype video for the Worlds. Of course he is going to talk that upIn an interview with his federation, he will say world championship, which was also Slovenia's first WC.
But last year he said that the most important thing remains his first Tour. Which was what he dreamed of winning when he was young.
Obviously the Vuelta is far below the Tour.
And now he is on his way to become the Tour's record holder. In an interview with his federation, he will say world championship, which was also Slovenia's first WC.

I hope this prediction of yours turns out accurate. And now he is on his way to become the Tour's record holder.
Now wait for this humiliation to give Evenepoel hope and confidence that he can beat Pogacar in 1 on 1 battle, making Belgium help Slovenia control the race....
I hope this prediction of yours turns out accurate.
Or maybe you are from the future and you already know?
He needs two more titles to be 'on his way'."He is on his way"
Obviously I said this looking to what is officially established. So 5 TdFHe needs two more titles to be 'on his way'.
By the way the real record is 7 but we are not allowed to say it.
You can say Pogacar is on his way to having the Lombardia record because he is quite close to it.
I hope Pogacar stays healthy. Froome easily had 1 more TDF win in him but one crash ended his career.Obviously I said this looking to what is officially established. So 5 TdF
It's true. However Froome was 34, Pogacar is 27.I hope Pogacar stays healthy. Froome easily had 1 more TDF win in him but one crash ended his career.
I hope this grandpa talk from Pog about retirement is just bluff. It's true. However Froome was 34, Pogacar is 27.
Froome won his first TdF when he was 28. Pogacar can win 5 TdF before turning 28.
