I hope Pogacar stays healthy. Froome easily had 1 more TDF win in him but one crash ended his career.

It's true. However Froome was 34, Pogacar is 27.
Froome won his first TdF when he was 28. Pogacar can win 5 TdF before turning 28.

After ITT I see tomorrow's race wide open with many potential winners. It's a good thing of course.

I don't see Pogacar as 100% prepared, he's probably at best around 90%. Well prepared Pogacar wouldn't get caught by Remco during the rolling ITT. Pogacar can lost against Remco in ITT but it's about the gap - he was smashed and missed even 3rd place. It's not a coincidence and I would be surprised if he can easily win RR with a monstrous 80k solo attack.

And there's no doubt that the spring Classics season has a significant impact on the rest of the year.
After the Mountain Bike World Championships, VDP said he was very exhausted this year. And Pogacar did Tour GC.

Pogacar's worst autumns have been the years he competed in the cobbles classics. And this year he's added the preparations for Paris-Roubaix, which are even more challenging.

We'll see what Pogacar does next year

I tend to agree that outsiders have a better chance than the biggest favorites (outside of Pogacar).

In this type of classic, surprises can happen if Slovenia is not able to control the break.
