McNulty to the Tour. Good for TTT, although in 2025 he decreased his level in ITT.
Adam Yates out?
McNulty is still one of the top time trialists. Also, if he's in good shape, we know what damage he's capable of doing in the mountains.

It is kinda confusing though. Reports state that Yates might still do Giro-Tour (which is already a proven terrible combo for him). Obviously, if McNulty is in the Tour lineup, then it makes sense that he replaces Yates. If not Yates, then I don't know who he'll replace.

Currently he would be an upgrade on both 2025 version of Yates and Sivakov with similar mountains ability to Sivakov and a better flat and TT engine than both.

It’s possible that Yates has a bounce back year but more likely that he settles into a climbing road captain Majka style role for Almeida in the Giro.
