I don't know, I think Seixas will just try to follow UAE and Pogacar. I'm pretty sure he will go over his limit to follow Pogacar just like he did in SB.
Now that's the big question. Do you think Pog will be able to shift gears from the pavè to the Ardennes with the ease of last year? This Roubaix I think took a lot out of him. On the other hand, Seixas had the perfect preparation for an assault in the Ardennes at Itzulia. Should be interesting.

He shouldn't have any problems; there are two weeks until Liège. Where he might have problems is in Amstel, like last year.
That's why, even though Del Toro isn't going, I doubt Pogacar will go to Amstel.

Ocana was never a factor in classics, while pog dominates. Look at flanders and PR.Its still big boys game ,where was ocana there. He struggled with recovery from anaerobic efforts. WC 1973 is preciselly my point. He was great at aerobic efforts this is why he finished 3rd. thats like jonas beating vdp in asprint after gruelling climbing stage.remember.pog is different monster and you wanna even make it harder.good luck.

Ocana wasn’t bothered about classics, like Vingegaard isn’t.
Merckx had Gimondi who could beat the best in the grand tours and in the classics. Then Ocana, Poulidor and Zoetemelk who were superb grand tour riders and climbers.

Pog can’t always beat Vingegaard and no one else is remotely consistent or good enough to be a contender.

Pogacar will not race AGR and FW. Plenty of time to recover and be at his best or close to his best. We all know he can win the race with one leg even he doesn't show up in peak shape.

Will you start getting worried after Robespierre Seixas destroys everyone in Wallone next week?

Not true, no one in this day and age can show up with "one leg" and win a monument. Even Pog will need "both legs", especially this year, because the level will be very high.

You also hype and hyped Vingegaard in the past and then Pogacar just destroyed him.
Let's see what Seixas can do against humans in FW. Pogacar is a different opposition.

Or maybe just skip the Ronde and rest until PR so to be even more effective...
Speculations tho.
Probably without the misfortunes he would've won and we would be here chanting.

People are underestimating how much energy he lost due to pedalling a shimano bike in 2 sectors of cobbles and pulling alone in the wind for 6 km when all others were still fresh and hidden in the group.

Someone even noticed his cadence on the Shimano bike? He was pedalling way harder to just stay in a group with Tarling (?) pulling.

Last year he was cooked after PR, then took part in Amstel (cracking there at the end) and still ruled in Liege .
This year, without Amstel, it should be easier to recover and prepare for Liege.

This time it makes sense. If there are doubts about Pogacar's performance, Remco is the next favorite.
Remco can't act like a third-leveloutsider either; he'll have to take responsibility.

There's a bit of hypocrisy surrounding this whole responsibility issue. At Roubaix, Van Aert was favorite in the sprint and looked fresher, and nobody criticized Pogacar for pulling when he was so clearly exhausted.
Because Visma had Laporte behind and Pogacar has less chance from a group of 8 sprint

Intersting to see if he indeed did gain a couple of kilos for Roubaix how he metabolizes that in time for Liege.

Not sure he gained anything compared to last year or 2023 (when his weight was 66-67 kg for cobbles according to his own words). He's definitely heavier than in 2024 but he had a full focus on GT double then.

Regarding his comments that he will probably be back in P-R but is not sure ... Unless he attempts a Giro-Tour double (possible Vuelta participation will depend on successful double) I don't see a scenario where he'd skip P-R. Bottom line, either he races the Giro or P-R
