I'm satisfied that Mauro and friends upgraded the Pog performances to the entire team.
This was better than Gewiss in FW 1994.

What a sh*tshow! Would laugh unless I was crying, procycling for me is mostly dead, when they allow this Gianetti led clownshow on the races. What an absolute disgrace. 🤮
Going a bit in tinfoil hat territory, but it's weird he is carrying his bike himself. Probably to hide a motor!!

The artificial hemoglobins described in the article would be easily detected in a test. I don’t think that is a feasible strategy.Hi everybody, could you take the time to have good look at this 2020 paper and tell us what you think about it ?
Isn't that what the Festina team was allegedly using in 1997 at the Courchevel stage?artificial hemoglobins
Although that would be the case for PFC, I don't know if other products could escape detection. The artificial hemoglobins described in the article would be easily detected in a test. I don’t think that is a feasible strategy.
NoIsn't that what the Festina team was allegedly using in 1997 at the Courchevel stage?
Pretty sure that was EPO. 1997 was before the EPO test became available.Isn't that what the Festina team was allegedly using in 1997 at the Courchevel stage?
Afaik, HBOCs don't raise your hematocrit, so they'd be superior to epo after the 50 % limit.Pretty sure that was EPO. 1997 was before the EPO test became available.
The below linked info should be compulsory reading for everyone here. There is a link to ABP Operating Guidelines. There it lists the blood markers tracked.
As stated above (by @Low is rhe new high), artificial hemoglobins described in the article would be easily detected in a test. Anything which influences those markers can potentially trigger an adverse finding. That includes artificial hemoglobin.
He doesn't have it in the TT-bike 😉today was his real level and watts. Even his monster TT:s in Grand Tours have come with normal roadbike.Forgot to charge the battery for today...
The examples are many, most recent being in Dauphine this year an average TT, but after total mutant level watts in the mountains. That extra 50-100 watts surely helps. That’s what happens when Pogacar’s bike is a normal one without enhancements. Good performances but not great ones. It’s pretty obvious.
Yeah I remember that. I was pretty sure something went wrong with the bike during that ride because he looked absolutely cooked during the climb. There was also a little weird kick out moment from the back wheel although others assured me it was just a pebble or something. I don’t know, looked weird. But then he just miraculously goes up like five levels the next few days and crushes the field. Not the first time he’s done that either. The kid either has a superhuman ability to improve his ability during a race and defy human physiology, or sometimes his bike is normal or not functioning properly. I am pretty sure the answer is the most obvious one. It’s the bike. The examples are many, most recent being in Dauphine this year an average TT, but after total mutant level watts in the mountains. They must have put the motor in Evenepoel’s bike. That’s what happens when Pogacar’s bike is a normal one without enhancements. Good performances but not great ones. It’s pretty obvious.
Nah, Remco is just pure class. Always was. They must have put the motor in Evenepoel’s bike.
