This gets me excited as BMC will have a strong squad with his awesome TT skills. His is also an excellent classics rider so now they will have a very good squad especially if cancellara joins

BMC haven't signed Cancellara, you can't just include riders at a whim. Because if we can, name me a better classics team than TopSport Vlaanderen if you include Cancellara, Boonen, Hushovd, Flecha and Pozzato? Right.

Hincapie, Ballan, Burghardt, Phinney, Kroon, Van Avermaet and Quinziato have a grand total of 3 cobbled classics victories* (Ballan RVV, Hincapie GW, Burghardt GW). Tom Boonen by himself has 15 (3x PR, 4x E3, 2x RVV, Dwars door Vlaanderen, KBK, 2x Scheldeprijs, GW).

*depends on your definition of classics, of course

Good move for BMC as it is being reported that Cancellara is going to Schlux.

It will take a few years but Phinney has similar qualities of Boonen & Cancellara.... really strong, has a sprint and can TT.

He TT's better than Boonen and sprints better than Cancellara. He's an interesting rider.

I didn't say they were....ACF was referring to the cobbled classics...he may say he wasn't but he was.

Yeah, that really is a bit premature. His time trialing is second to none, but he's not even the biggest allround talent in the U23 ranks right now, let alone in the pro peloton. He'll be a very strong time trialist, that's for sure.

What good is it to Cuddles that Phinney is on his team considering that when Cuddles goes for the Giro Phinney will be doing the ToC allong with the rest of the BMC first team bar Evans.
