Nothing new in the fact the consistency brings result in the Tour.
Dumoulin and Thomas lost the least so far. Quintana the most.

Consistency meaning luck in the first 3 stages?

You can call it luck and stretch to 20 stages.

Punctures on both wheels with 3.3k to go would classify as a very bad luck in my book

On a side note, I like the TTT -- surely part of being a team is working together. And, it's quite a spectacle to see 8 guys on 12k bikes in formation.

All in all I'd say having more or less the same time as and Porte after the TTT is brilliant news for nibali. His biggest weakspot is now over

The traffic island was there all the time (if it was about that as claimed), and today's performance wasn't about luck.
