Honestly...Gaviria wouldn`t win a stage without Quickstep. He is fast...no question but it´s more about his team getting him in perfect position every single time. Greipel was in beast mode today...incredible sprint coming from behind, same for Kittel on stage one.

Yeah, I am used to great leadouts by Richeze, but today was another level! Even for his (high) standards. It's been a while since I saw a leadout that perfect: Positioning, duration, speed. It had everything!

Maybe next year the other teams will try a different tactics rather than waiting for a sprint finish and keep losing to Quickstep. But i doubt it.

It was the same at the Giro and really it’s been the same all year - Quickstep’s sprinter support is a huge advantage for whoever is on the end of their lead out. It’s actually hard to work out where their sprinters rank against their peers because they always have that advantage.

What I like they're not going only after the jersey but also for the wins too. If the break made it, there would be considerably smaller point difference between sagan and gaviria. If gaviria wants to stay in the competition, he should make it to the finish tomorrow, now that sagan got free 50 points in stage 2.

I think Gav can be happy that Greipel came from the back. They started too far from the end. Sagan could beat him here like in TDS.
