If he cant get this back its all over unless somthing remarkable happens

Why they didnt get Contador to come with then I have no idea

I believe Both Shlecks can pull it back as Saxo could win the TTT and they are great in the mountains

Calm downnn! I don't think this is as bad as having AC in the break, nothing is over. I'm more excited about this because it causes drama within the astana camp. I want an astana implosion :D

LA / Rogers / Spartacus gaining 30-45 seconds doesn't = race over

Contador in the chasing group completely ALONE, noone was near him in the last 3 kms.

I have to say-I feel sorry for the guy, he does not deserve, even though he is a doper.

Yes, we know it isn't over. It is just funny that it happened.

Lance proves once again why he is the best, at least among the favorites. Contador, Evans, Menchov, the Schlecks; back to school, on your bike!

He may be an ahole but he knows his stuff when it comes to racing. Clearly AC, Evans, etc. are junior varsity compared to Lance.

Now this is going to make this Tour interesting! I don't think Columbia will have the legs for tomorrow's TT. Saxo Bank kept the yellow jersey and frankly I don't think they relinquish it after tomorrow's TTT. Lance won't be in yellow any time soon. At least that's my opinion.

And I'm actually not worried about Contador one bit (he was caught out with all of the contenders, so he's not disadvantaged there (I don't consider Lance a real contender)). I am curious, though, to see what Lance has to say after the race. If he starts talking like he's the leader, well then I feel comfortable projecting that the next two and half weeks are going to be pure drama. If he continues to talk the way he did after stage 1 and 2, then I think JB's working a tactical game.

Indeed, just thought the person claiming Evans tour is over was a tad dramatic haha. Good stage (last 30 kms anyway :D)

Yes, spoke too soon. But Evans can't afford to lose any time, given his team's likely TTT performance vs. the others, as I can't believe he's gonna leave Bertie behind on any hill. That's all.

Surprise today, the favorites not being in the front group at the end. Who's the biggest winner of the day? Probably LA taking precious seconds back heading into the TTT. Who's the biggest loser? Hard to say with so many GC favorites losing seconds to Armstrong...

The first week will indeed be very interesting with tomorrow's TTT and friday's stage ending in Arcalis. Seems to me like we'll see some very interesting racing!

If Lance ends up in Yellow after the team time trial Bob Roll will be insufferable. I really hope Columbia wins tomorrow (I expect they will...).

Spartacus will keep yellow-I dont think that Saxo can lose 40s to Astana.
