Congratulations for that whole second, Andy, you dumb lazy idiot.

I dunno... the way everyone was looking around, especially TV (who rode GREAT), they may have thought everyone's just a little to strong to try something big today. So just wait for another day. And BOY do they have some doozies coming up.

cunego paced himself very well

is it safe to say that contador's form is slowly increasing?

That's what I was just saying to my wife. If it was Giro fatigue, you would think his form would continue to get worse. He's getting stronger which doesn't bode well for the Schlecks.

As it stands, I think Cuddles is the day's big winner.

Seriously, think this was a big blow to team Leopard Trek.

Great ride Andy, three seconds!

Absolutely! He is giving away perhaps his only chance to win the Tour, what an idiot. Cadel Evans must feel like a million bucks at this point. Voeckler could be a contender if he can ride with these guys in the Alps

Samu: he is the man :D. Thanks for giving us some excitement today Samu

Wonder how long it has been since 3 French riders finished in the top 10 on a Tour mountain stage, with none from a breakaway.

Not sure about that, I think the biggest winner is Evans, I think the Schlecks, Contador and Basso have all lost today, though maybe Andy a bit more then others.

They're playing into Contador's hands for the Alps. They used their entire team today to gain what?

Man I wish AC were in top form now so he could cream these fools.
Andy was the strongest, but lol @ everyone shadowing him.

Well done to Evans, I was sure he would lsoe time today, but I was sure it would be a lot harder.

clearly andy felt good enough today and put in a few attacks. hopefully he will get stronger and on the right day, will put it all in for an attack that can hold. but i don't see why he's getting attacked when he at least tried to do something. yeah, i would have liked to have seen him go off and gap everyone, but clearly that was not happening today for whatever reason. doesn't make him lazy or an idiot.

Cycling is about to descent into farce again.

Perhaps you can get away with implying that here in a joking way, but serious accusations/discussions belong in the Clinic.

However, there is a doubt that Voeckler is up to his eyeballs on drugs. The first to follow every attack today. He attacked once himself. Only two teams with two riders in the lead group was Leopard and Voeckler and his team-mate who have now hung in on two mountain finishes.

Cycling is about to descent into farce again.

I am not going to assume anything but it is time to go to the clinic and discussing some frenchies and their magical improvements.

Pierre Rolland is a really good rider and you've probably just missed his good results so far. A lot of them have flown under the radar.

Is Voeckler on something? I don't know. But it's unfair to say it's going to descend into farce when the people who are supposed to be dropping him include Fränk Schleck, Alberto Contador and Ivan Basso.

Let's leave the Clinic matters there.

how's voeckler in ITT?

I remember he lost the white jersey to karpets in 2004 in the time trial, that was the year he had yellow and defended on plateau de beille aswell..... that was 7 years ago though and he is no longer a young rider therefore I have no idea and I have wasted a post :S
