Well done Cadel...looked excellent!

Yes he did. And if the Schlecks continue to allow him to hang around, I would say he's got a virtual lock on his first Grand Tour.

Looking at GC, if we can crack Evans who is clearly weaker, get say 30 seconds on either 16 or 17 descent, then thats 1.10 to Andy and 1.30 to Frank for the Alps and time trial.

Limit losses there, so maybe 2 minutes to get back in tt.

Still probably got to hope for Schlecks and Cuddles to get some of the bad luck they deserve somewhere, but maybe just maybe.

I never head such **** in my life. Take your Sanchez goggles off please.

Can I just remind you that it was Samu who was in difficulty after the accelerations and the favourites let him off the front because he is so far down.

Well he did say Ivan was trying to race.
The stakes are just too high.
Everybody more terrified of blowing up, than winning the race.
It's the Tour's achilles heel.

Very disappointed to see Cuddles revert to his negative side.
Was hoping he'd be his less restrained half.

he did try to attack or push the pace. everyone on this forums likes to remind us that cadel is not very strong in the mountains. how could he have really attacked.

The racing is so much more exciting when everyone is evenly matched as they were today. Refreshing not to see one rider making a super human acceleration at the bottom of the climb and blowing up the final group completely. I'm a little nervous about what we are going to see in the Alps following the final rest day, hopefully we won't see anyone suddenly turning super human again after a rest day top off.

Evans will crack. Like I said if Evans win this tour I a will take a Cadel avatar forever !

depending on his IIT he should beat evans imho.

You keep on doubing his team and Evans to fall to peices but it still hasn't happened.

This is why I dislike Cuddles the GT man.
But to be fair, he has no other hope of winning.

I wanna mute SBS these two fools have no ideas

"samu will lose 4 mins in the itt"

One thing to remember; Basso is a third week rider, and he allowed Szmyd to rest today.

Hmm, interesting..

All of the panelists and people getting interviewed still not naming Samu as a contender despite being best climber in the Pyranees.

Maybe hes not in Omerta or something.

As much as I like him, he is still 2 minutes down on Frank. I don't know where that time would come from if I'm honest.

Anthony Tan just wrote off Sammy Sanchez as a contender with the statement "He's a horrible time trialist".

Oh he just produced this gem: "Andy wants to ride for his brother Frank, because he's only got one or two chances left".

The guy has no idea.

Your are still firm that cadel will crack. he might lose time but im not sure if he will crack. if he limits his losses, you get your cadel avatar:D

I reckon Voekler has been underestimated, he can climb and surprised they let him get a 2 minute lead, Rolland has really been excellent for him also.
Voekler must have few of the GC favorites worried now. He answered everything. I think this Tour is wide open right now.

If Voeckler makes it to the top w/ the leaders today then we have to say he can win the TdF. He's got 2 mins and they can't shake him.

Man I wish AC were in top form now so he could cream these fools.
Andy was the strongest, but lol @ everyone shadowing him.

Well done to Evans, I was sure he would lsoe time today, but I was sure it would be a lot harder.
LeoTard really F**ked up.

1+ Timmy.
Soon the Schlecks will cry again. That´s ok w/me. They don´t belong to be TdF-Champs. But the bad thing is, they wasted my time :mad:....

God am i annoyed now. I can´t come down. Never saw such a $hitty boring MTF (i watch cycling since ca. 1980...)

Insider for you: I should go back to soccer. ;)

He also had the legs to close gaps whenever he wanted and sprint away at the end. Schleck seems to worry about his brother or being counter attacked too much rather than just going for it. Defeatist attitude.

The only time we have seen him go is last year when his brother was out.
