just saw an astana rider talking to an rs rider. he put his hand on his shoulder. anyone catch this? it was so fast. pretty sure it was rs unless it was caisse. just wondering who the two were?

yes it was an rs rider but the footage is from behind.

I think the Astana rider was contador. The radioshack rider was i think number 22 so Brajkovic.

Perez Arrieta the sprinter hanging on. Wtf

Finished top 10 on a climbing stage of Catalunya (stage 3) this year as well... ahead of Leipheimer and Kloden, with guys like Taaramae and Casar. Apparently wasn't falling back from a break either.

Has been in the top 10-15 of sprint finishes as well. He's got an odd set of finishes to his name.

Voeckler looks good. Would be ironic if he won a big mountain stage this year considering last year he won the flattest stage of the tour.

Voeckler stayed in the front group. How well does he descend?

When he wants to he is very good. I.E good bike handler who descends very well if he takes risks. When he had yellow for a while he did just that.

Cuenego dropped from the Peloton.

In that case, Voeckler for the win!

Isn't Perez a climbing domestique?

Instead of asking who descends better, from the remaining breakaway riders, also ask who knows the road the best.

+5:55m and 7.1K to go...

Wonder if he can make it...Prolly depends on whether or not the big fish start attacking each other, (without sur placing off course.)
