the one thing in schlecks favour is that contador is dancing on the peddles, while he is sitting.

But contador looks really strong.

It's how Contador has been covering Andy on all the days that he was covering and he expected Andy might be taking off there and then. As if he has just too little to respond, and that gaps get 2 wheels too wide for comfort, if he needs to come out of the saddle.

At minimum AS is thinking of securing his 2nd position. I suspect that is why he isn't changing accelerations as he usually does.

Looks like Andy will be the new "internal second" AC going nowhere for the next 4 years

Yeah... like many of the comparisons that have been made, he's the 2nd coming of Jan Ulrich.

AC always does that.

No way is he going to be dropped.

I know he always does that, but it does expand more enerfy and contador is the more explosive time, while schleck the more, steady up the mountain type.

More important than having a guy finishing top five? I kind of disagree. But I can see it from stupi Radioshack marketing perspective.

How could RS have put a guy in the top 5? Based on what the riders have shown, there's nothing I can see that would have accomplished that. 6th seemed like the max to me, even if Levi had stuck with the Menchov group.

But Andy is wasting more energy now then Contador :) Conti is just sucking wheel right now.

I'm impressed what Schleck can do at that age though ;o

Normally yes, but I think Contador in this Tour has been caught out a couple of time with "not his usual explosive responses". Think it is more a sign of nervousness than form, although I think he has less than last year.
