Sorenson turning up the heat

I've never seen someone look so pained while riding a bike. Every type of terrain it looks like he is destroying himself.

What happened to Bottle marking him?

He did... he said "Look... there he goes!".

But in all seriousness... as RS's lone GC hope now, he's in theory supposed to mark Contador at this point (good luck with that).

Bit ill thought out that strategy, having the peloton's least aggressive rider try to follow the one most likely to launch crazy attacks.

Vino in yellow tonight? The pace in the peloton seems to have slowed a little, Cadel is pretty much out of team-mates.

Awww, but that is the brilliance of Bruyneel's tactical genius. No one else would have thought of it. ;)

Respect to BMC, they lived up to the challenge. Even if Evans should lose his jersey they still did great. I think he'll keep it though

Think the Astana team plan involved Vino attacking like this?

Edited to add: This descent is a bit nuts!

Good tactic here by astana.. if vino gets 2 minutes or so in front, BMC and Saxo are going to have to chase..

Gutierrez has been on the front almost all day, or at least it seems like it. Nocentini dropped from the break.

The main field will have to chase Vino down surely.
