Sounds like I'm the only one who likes the Nibs jersey. I actually like the way the tri-colour goes with the Astana blue but I do wish the stripes were a little bigger and went all the way around.

Haha, refreshing coverage from Eurosport. :)
Less partisan than the BBC. And hell's teeth, the response to SKY and Froome was very muted.

Eurosport is just wasting everybody's time.
Christ, the quality is low.

Note: not talking about the show itself which looked very good. Its the ES overlay which is crap.

Got to say Prudhomme is a fantastic ambassador for the Tour. Think he does a fabulous job and is always super motivated !

For those of us who didn't get to watch it, can someone sum up what the reception was for Froome? I saw a couple posts say it was mixed. Was Froome booed? Just not cheered very much? Were there any fans with signs for Wiggins? Details, please :D

Also, how was the audience reception for the other GC guys - Contador, Nibs, Valverde, etc?

Thanks

Yeah sure, the reaction for Contador was ...

What a great answer, hope that helped.

There seems to be a lot of negative reactions on here but I thought all the riders were cheered & welcomed equally but I must agree with a lot of other posters that Greg Lamond is useless

I have ITV4 on at the moment and they seem to be showing the teams at the moment without added interviews

They didn't boo anyone from what I heard. The reaction to Froome was just not overwhelming. Seemed like they cheered Kittel almost as much.

When there were still 7 teams left, the presenters were hyping up that the finale would be Sky and Froome. That seemed to generate rumbling rather than acclaim, which I posted at the time. When it was finally Sky's turn to appear on stage (which ES omitted in favour of bad interviews with Nibali and Valverde) , there were firework sound effects and very vocal support, as there was for Froome's interview.
