There are two Etxebarrias. Are you sure about the OP one?roundabout said:Etxebarria retired at 33 after he was named in Operation Puerto so you can also cross him off the list.
Escarabajo said:That's not enough proof. By using the same theory we would have to take Christophe Bassons out.
Do we want to say all US Postal service/Discovery riders doped in the past? what about Michael Creed?
I'll take Lelli out.
I have never heard him say that. Do you have an interniew link or something?hrotha said:Didn't Vande Velde implicitly admit he doped throughout his whole career (save for his Garmin years, of course)?
kurtinsc said:It may not be enough proof... but it's tough to believe riders who have predominantly hung around teams that have been full of dopers are clean.
Anyone who rode for a Bruyneel or Riis team is suspicious in my book.
I don't have anything, sorry. That's what I got from reading other people's posts here, so maybe someone will be able to shed some light on this issue (I think it had something to do with Kimmage?)Escarabajo said:I have never heard him say that. Do you have an interniew link or something?
Otherwise he is out because his best results are when he was riding clean and that's really not possible in my book.
Ninety5rpm said:I think what we need is a comprehensive list of all top 10 finishers for the years in question, and some kind of rating next to each. Maybe 1-3 exclamation marks for confirmed dopers (the more confirmed, the more marks), and maybe 1-3 question marks for unconfirmed but suspicious, depending on how suspicious. I mean, working with Saiz and Riis should be worth at least one question mark. Of course, finishing in the top 10 alone arguably justifies at least one question mark!
