The Blonde Angel is indeed correct

Speaking of blond Angels, which other rider was in his homecountry often referred to as "the blond angel" who came in 5th in his first Tour de France being only 22 years old, rode 15 days in yellow, beat Eddy Merckx in a TT but in later years never managed to repeat that performance?

Indeed.

And will ask the next question..

Which city/town/village etc where a stage of this year's Tour finishes also featured in the very first Tour de France?

Since my edit was at 38 and Linkinito's post was at 37, I think he should be allowed to ask the next question.

(And I don't know what to ask anyways :p)

Okay, easy question: what's the highest climb in the Tour de France that has never been a Hors Categorie climb (since HC was introduced)?

Mont Cenis from France?

EDIT: Does it count if the climb hasn't been ridden since 1979 (first year with HC)?

The last time Cayolle was used there wasn't any HC mountains, so I don't know whether or not it is fair to use that

Otherwise there is a petit one, but perhaps that one is borderline?

Modified the question a little bit, but I think that doesn't change a thing.

OK, next question. We all know that for a time it was part of a rider's growing up process to travel across the Iron Curtain and get mercilessly battered on terrible roads by Warsaw Pact riders in the Friedensfahrt.

But how many riders who took part in that race have gone on to finish on the podium in Paris?
