It gets the Coach a Nice Paycheck, That's Who! LOL I wasn't taking a shot at you just seemed like a funny line.He has now. Can't even beat a small country like new zealand.
Anyway, Ineos have signed a new sprint coach for Ethan Hayter. Not really sure how that helps anyone

Still a bit strange to seemingly hire a coach specifically for a guy who's leaving.
It bit late, other than wearing their kit and riding a Pinarello his Ineos involvement has finished.Maybe they want to make sure he becomes a horrible signing for QS.

Not the 1st time: they hired a former swim coach as a trainer.so they've hired a sprint coach to coach something else? This just gets better & better
Sport and Exercise Physiology Phd guys at that level are not just experts in one tiny discipline like sprinting lol! He did work at Dutch National Cycling Union as Head sprint coach then head endurance coach and finally overseeing all National Dutch coaching. A big loss for Dutch cycling, he was a key part of their rise to overhaul GB and Aus.so they've hired a sprint coach to coach something else? This just gets better & better
Kurt Asle Arvesen says, no more GC, now it's stages and one day races ...

Since the main main of Dutch track sprinting, Harrie Lavreysen, didn't want to work with Mehdi Kordi anymore before the Olympics and chose to return to his former coach Hugo Haak, I wonder how much of a loss it really is (and how much of a gain for Ineos).Sport and Exercise Physiology Phd guys at that level are not just experts in one tiny discipline like sprinting lol! The missed opportunity Roubaix, Thomas said he waited for Wiggins to move when Terpstra attacked and then it was too late. May not have worked out but everyone sat and watched him go up the road.I really want G to give cobbles a last go, like Wiggo did

But you could say the same about every rider in that very elite group waiting for someone else to chase. You think Thomas was going to beat Boonen and Cancellara (was Sagan still there too?).The missed opportunity Roubaix, Thomas said he waited for Wiggins to move when Terpstra attacked and then it was too late. Was one of the most disappointing finishes I’ve ever seen. The most elite group possible heading into Roubaix, 6 km to go, the ultimate showdown of the very best cobbles specialists, eager anticipation and then . . . Pfffst. The air went out out of the balloon. No discredit to Terpstra, just disappointing for a cycling fan.
Shows you how Thomas has 0 cycling brain cause he was waiting for Bradley frigging Wiggins to attackThe missed opportunity Roubaix, Thomas said he waited for Wiggins to move when Terpstra attacked and then it was too late. May not have worked out but everyone sat and watched him go up the road.
Perhaps, but I think it just demonstrates what a good team player he has always been, deferring to his leader.Shows you how Thomas has 0 cycling brain cause he was waiting for Bradley frigging Wiggins to attack
Raises the question though, how does letting another rider go up the road without chasing help get a team win? That’s exactly what a dom accompanying a leader in a final group would be expected to do. What else was he waiting for? To lead Wiggins out in a sprint against Boonen on the Velodrome?Perhaps, but I think it just demonstrates what a good team player he has always been, deferring to his leader.
Too late by then I would have thought,.Raises the question though, how does letting another rider go up the road without chasing help get a team win?
