And what can you then infer when such team are not around? The point is other teams who are less wealthy can have a women's team ,and they make it work from a business point of view, or else, these teams would not be around.

It was a choice in Team Sky days, when the reputation value would have been high. And what can you then infer when such team are not around?
Weren't the Man Utd women's team moved out of their training premises - to elsewhere, away from the men's a while ago?I don't think Sir Jim is bothered anyway about women's sport.
Radcliffe is only bothered about getting UK tax payers buying him a multi-billion pound stadium. It was a choice in Team Sky days, when the reputation value would have been high.
Whether it's not value for money now, I don't know, costs are higher but still a fraction of a men's pro Team, however I doubt that many are that interested in Land Rover copy, the value for Ineos is then difficult to quantify.

That would be interesting, I've heard Rowe on GT's podcast a few times and he seems pretty thoughtful.Luke Rowe off to AG2R? One of the old guard is supposedly out the door next year.

I genuinely have no clue why Ineos didn't take him on as a DS, even if just for culture/personal relations reasons. They're really all at sea.Just so everyone's on the same page, Luke Rowe plans to be a DS at AG2R and not as a rider.
There is a real football thread over at the non-cycling discussions. Maybe it's better over there?'We need to talk about Sir Jim Ratcliffe'
Its mostly about his football adventures, but it covers a lot about Ineos/Ratcliffe & how they run football clubs. I thought some of you would find it very interesting.
I thought it would give people an insight into why Ineos are no longer the team they used to be & what to expect for the future. If a mod wants to move it or you want to post it there, feel free. There is a real football thread over at the non-cycling discussions. Maybe it's better over there?
Tbf, United was a complete mess way before he took over.'We need to talk about Sir Jim Ratcliffe'

Tell Jimmy Spithill and the Luna Rossa crew that.Everything he touches turns to disaster
There is only one thing you need to know about Americas cup sailing, it costs an awful lot of money. £110 million so far for Jim I believe.Thats more to do with him not knowing anything about sailing & leaving that bit to Sir Ben Ainsle & Adrian Newey.
over 300 million. Man Utd, lausanne, Mercedes, Ineos, all huge budgets with a mediocre return. There is only one thing you need to know about Americas cup sailing, it costs an awful lot of money. £110 million so far for Jim I believe.
Well he's not lost the Americas Cup yet.over 300 million. Man Utd, lausanne, Mercedes, Ineos, all huge budgets with a mediocre return.
He has now. Can't even beat a small country like new zealand.Well he's not lost the Americas Cup yet.
Anyway, Ineos have signed a new sprint coach for Ethan Hayter. Not really sure how that helps anyone
Season is over and Ethan will be riding with another team next season. He has now. Can't even beat a small country like new zealand.
