At the risk of sounding like I'm on a wind up, from 2007 onwards he was trained by Matt Parker along with Sutton. Parker is sports scientist. And that was the same up until Kerrison took over. (And Parker took a job in rugby or football. I forget which).

Clearly you're not that Matt Parker (and neither am I).
Yes, my friend, Mr. Parker took the job in rugby
and it was Mr. Dan Hunt that moved to football.

Yes, the difference between Horner/MPCC and Froome/TUE is a crevice the size of the Gran Canyon.

Didn't Horner get a TUE for Cortisone and continue riding the tour of Utah. What is the difference?

He got the TUE after Utah. No point in wasting cortisone for such minor events

credible performance again by sky. Im starting to think they might be clean, except for Dawg of course.

I'm starting to think they might be reverting to TT-ing in sand shoes again. :p

But nah, too soon to tell anything about Sky yet.

Apart from Steroid Dawg they all were more or less crap all year.

Kiryienka

Kiryienka actually looked like he was tired yesterday pulling on the front. Compare that to last year when he never even broke sweat.

I doubt there is a collective doping programme inside Sky. If there's any at all. Their good results have more to do with subpar competition - read not at their best.

Stannard went very well early this year until injury :( He won Het Niewsblad.

The GC program has been a mess along with sidelining Wiggo.

That was as inexplicable as the rest of Sky though. The guy was going *great* then kaboom!

I will never understand Sky. They put huge money into the sport, brag about doing things different, but other then a 2-3 guys they produce little. Those 2-3 guys have a few big years then flame out.

Is Cataldo's contract up for renewal? Done more or less nothing since signing for Sky and today drops his leader when pulling on the front.

Today's stage: "Guys, go to the front near the bottom of a murderous climb and set the pace real high so there are no surprise attacks that open a big gap." And then his team drops their leader. And then apparently nobody left to help the leader?

No wonder Saint David was relieved of his BC duties.

Yeah, should be ending this year.

But then again, he is Cataldo so you never know what you are going to get, contract renewal or not.

Why blame Sky when Brailsford is the supposedly 'brains' behind it all?

No doubt we will find out in due time why 2 guys, who no one predicted, rose like rockets, won the TdF and fell away like falling stars.........

To be fair, Froome has yet to fall quite a bit for that statement to be true.

wtf is up with LRP? Can't find him on any startlists, absolute car crash of a season. Hopefully if he's called it already he can reboot in time for next year. I don't doubt that he was ill at some stages but looks a bit tap-on-the-shoulder-ish.
