Krebs cycle said:Oh noes, the mighty UK Postal Sky Train with its systematic team doping program could only manage a paltry 5th place in the Vuelta TTT. Its almost EXACTLY the same as USPS when they WON the TTT at the tour in 2003, 2004, 2005, and came 2nd in 2000 and 2002 or when they WON the TTT in the Vuelta in 2004, and came 2nd in 2002.

Somebody please call the WADA and the UCI and tell them there are ALIENS at the Vuelta and this EXTRATERRESTRIAL performance which DOMINATED the rest of the field must be stopped for the sake of the sport. Maybe you can explain to them they need to be working on test for SECRET ALIEN DNA because well der, obviously the biopassport doesn't flag it as suspicious. But we know better, we know suspicious when we see it don't we boys?![]()
Krebs cycle said:i've only been a member of this site for a few months, but I can already see that the clinic is place where people who believe in the honourable concept of clean sport can share and discuss knowledge. there is enthusiasm and hope in this place for a future where cheats are shown the door and we can all enjoy the spectacle of honest man against man competition instead of doctor vs doctor. this is a positive place but you and BPC bring nothing except negativity.
troll away as much as you like though, I don't care what you say because I am an expert, I do have contacts in high places in WADA and the UCI, and I know that you are wrong.
on topic, I think the performances in the tdf since the early-mid 90s are virtually impossible to achieve without doping, so IMO, I don't think it would be physiologically possible to win the tour undoped unless of course, everyone was undoped.
Hey lets quote Krebs making a response to a LA fanboy 3yrs ago on the subject of LA doping. Way to go genius, your analytical skills are a wonder to behold.the big ring said:How soon we forget.

Although I suppose today's TTT is more evidence that Sky are systematically doping

Especially since with De gregorio and Schleck this tour was most def not undoped., I don't think it would be physiologically possible to win the tour undoped unless of course, everyone was undoped.
The Hitch said:Since when do anglophone teams care about the VUelta. Moreover any anglophone team doping in the Tour and getting out of it the biggest superstar in the sport would most likely not risk it in the Vuelta lest they had signatures from Mcquaid, Rajoy, John Fahey and Chuck Norris that the team would not get caught.
The Hitch said:Interesting to see that underperforming at the Vuelta btw is now more evidence of being clean than underperforming at the Tour de France.
The Hitch said:lol thats some top spin right there.
A team underperforming (and underperforming as missing the win by a handful of seconds) in 1 stage of 1 race where they dont even send their a team is now evidence that that team is 100% clean, Gotcha.

Avoriaz said:But it isn't really a handful of seconds is it? It is a big bunch of teams within maybe two or three seconds, and then another team ten seconds ahead. But not an eyelid battered amongst you experts. Perhaps it isn't about "anglo saxons" being clean, but now ONLY anglo saxons are dirty

The Hitch said:lol no one claims a movistar is a clean team. The movistar threads are sitting on the shelf because there is no army of movistar fans to protest that in navarre they do it clean due to some super moral gene. that and the fact that movistar havent accomplished much this season.
Valverde has had his worst season ever. Cobo is having the worst post gt win season since Lance won a gt then retired. Kiriyenka i havent even seen. Visconti couldnt even do his usual challenge for 1 lousy giro stage. Rojas failed at more sprints than usual, Plaza is about to retire for all i know, probs still the injury, and Rui costa scraped a week race where no top climbers even turned up purely because the last stage the mountain where he cracked was too far from the finish.
The only abarca sports rider with any succes moved to rabo last year and even he doesnt have that much to brag about.
there is not much suspicion here because its a team time trial where they saved their rideres well. We see with Liquigas often for example how a team can perform really well in a ttt but then their riders make little impact on the itt or prologue.
When movistar train starts to rip it apart in the mountains then the clinic will flock to the movi threads, but dont be surprised that 1 ttt win in their home town from the team that is probably the biggest flop of the season, who moreover rode in the best temperature and whose chief competitors were sabotaged by a motorbike, isnt igniting the movistar threads just yet.
