You should ask her on twitter:) Is she employed by SKY..not sure you could pin this one on Sky as a Sky PR disaster in this case as surely she's out of their control (if it is a disaster?-Just a rogue T1000 being trigger happy).

After last year's b1tchfest during the Tour, I would've expected someone at Sky to have a quiet word in her ear about her twitter-rage. Apparently not.

She has said she is very anti-doping as she knows that the Dawg is clean and so wants more done so he doesn't have to compete against cheats, so you could take it in that context if you like.

What's the difference between being anti-doping and very anti-doping? Is she extra squeeky clean?

She did post on another forum. When JSG was doing some research on bilharzia and the effects of the treatment.

She might be worried about her boyfriend being so thin etc.
Or wanting to build up her twitter following palmares:)

Whoa she isn't doing Sky's pr any favours. "So you can't get popped for GW501516 yet, can you? CAN YOU?" :D Though clearly that's not what she meant.

Not everyone in the world immediately associates Sky with doping..

Well at least in her mind..

Presumably Walsh will be at le Tour, for most if not all of it. He has that carte blanche for the whole year, not just le Tour.

Would prefer he embed himself at the Giro...

Dede Demet told us Michael was very squeaky clean.

Of course, she also happened to be intimidating Dave Z into using EPO at the same time.

At least Michael's performances appeared to be clean...

Dave.

Well I wasn't suggesting anybody should take her word as gospel.

I think you mean Qatar and not Dubai but fair point !

Also haha I thought the Brits won the Olympics because Chirac made a really bad joke about Finnish food to Merkel and the Finns had plenty of judges on the board. ( well at least it's a good story ).
Never really understood the decision really, London didn't have the budget or the plans nor much of anything at the time, unlike Paris. Oh well thanks to that Boris had an excuse to increase Tube prices for us every 6 months in London ( they're still doing it so not sure what the excuse is anymore ).

Inflation?

She was in the right though. And the sexist reactions from fans afterwards were horrid.

I was always under the impression that London did not so much win it, as Paris completely blew it - to the point that Madrid nearly came up on the inside. But I don't know much about IOC politics to be honest. Apart from another dubious Irishman with power at EOC.

Don't underestimate the Legendary British Media, the only unbiased media in the world. They have a vast knowledge of the history of doping in cycling, they even read a Wikipedia-page on doping. They live by the old Bush-Maxim 'fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice....can't get fooled again'.

You cannot hope to bribe or twist,
Thank God, the British Journalist.

Yes I remember it well. 3-2 loss to Portugal. The fans turned on him. Said something about his wife. He gave them the finger.

Press thought he was too much of a pretty boy.

England weren't winning. The fans blame Beckham. The press didn't like his lifestyle.

But to be honest. During that period. He was England's best player and the one who worked the hardest on the pitch.

He didn't deserve it.

But he wasn't dominating like he should have been. That was the problem.
Despite your protestations it would seem that you follow him very closely. Did you bin all your Spice Girl cds once he married Posh?

Ryan Giggs, now there is a walking pharmacist. Playing at his age is enhanced totally.

I'm a diehard Manchester United fan. I could give a damn who Ryan Giggs sleeps with, he's been a legend at the club.

And I agree 100% that he's a prime candidate for doping.

I remember when quite a few articles were written in the British press mentioning MilanLab - always wondered if any English clubs followed suit. Would not be one bit surprised...

Forgot about his positive. I was referring to the herbal tea excuse in the 1988 Olympics. He's "damaged goods" in the eyes of most of the public and press.

That's one of those 'obvious by ommision' cases - the man's a former Olympic and World 100m champ for goodness sake, and he is basically ignored now. The press can't pin him on it, but it's bloody obvious what they think.

It was notable that both Kath Merry and Darren Campbell, two runners with pretty good anti-doping credentials, were in his nuff respect group. Don't know what the proper word for that is. Beard springs to mind.

Well at least we know if the media did see something suspicious they would tell us immediately.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2660DUHobM

the mistake all you internet warriors in the clinic make is that you look at whether riders have made sudden unexplained improvements.

The professionals in the media, who, as former poster mambo95 never failed to remind us, must know far more than us, because they are professionals, look at whether the athlete speaks English and at the colour of their skin.

That's how you determine the dopers.
