Thanks for proving my point.

No matter how you try to justify it is a stupid move for Sky, and their fans, to smear Kimmage for asking a legit question.

Wow. That's as obvious a refusal to address a reply as I've seen in some time. Chapeau on the obfiscation.

And I suggest you ask Franklin and others who i'm a fan of, before making foolish assumptions.

I don't care who you are a fan of. Pretending that smearing Kimmage is a valid strategy because everyone is entitled to an opinion is nonsense.

Then don't imply I'm a 'Skyfan' to make a cheap point.

..Is YOUR opinion. Which is not AT ALL biased by your feelings for Kimmo.

Personally, I'm going to wait and see what happens before deciding whose 'strategy' I think is 'winning' or 'losing'. Frankly, as I said, in my view they're welcome to each other.

No doubt. But you aren't in any special position to judge which is which, is my point.

Whatever Kimmage purpose, no doubt it is extremely rude to ask that question of Brailsford in the presence of EBH.Edvald is one of the most credible riders in the bunch. I realise that Kimmage prides himself on giving people ****, but he could find plenty of more appropriate victims.

I think some young, full-of-himself, mouthy, know-it-all,
blow-hard blogger should ask Paul Kimmage when all the
cameras are rolling at the release of Paul's next book:
"Paul do you really expect us to believe you only doped
once, and in an uncontrolled, non-regulated post Tour crit?
Really, Paul, just the once, is that what you expect us
to believe? Seems a little far-fetched doesn't it Paul?
You got through the Tour without doping and then in
a fixed race where the winner is already chosen you
decided to dope? That doesn't really make much sense
does it Paul?"

Two Dutch journalists have written a sensational book on doping within Rabobank team, Blood Brothers, unfortunately not yet out in English.

David Walsh ‏@DavidWalshST 4h
Many ask whether Geert Leinders is implicated in Blood Brothers. According to the authors, he was the central support figure to doping.
Hasn't that been obvious for year now? This is a guy who left Rabo because they were taking the team in a new, clean direction. I have a hard time believing he has any interest in curing saddle sores for a living, that tends to pay a lot less than engineering doping programs does. I also have a hard time believing a team world famous for their attention to detail would risk hiring one of the dodgiest doctors on the market to diagnose skin conditions (which he sucks at anyway).

Back on topic, Doc ;-)

It wasn't wrong of Kimmage to ask. Not at all. He can ask what he wants. It is odd so many expect him not to, or declare he shouldn't. He's entitled to speak his mind and hold his views.

I found it more amusing that several, including Daniel Benson, of this site, criticised Kennaugh for his response. Because he also wasn't wrong. He's entirely entitled to come to an opinion about Kimmage, and express it how he likes. He can ask what he wants. He's entitled to speak his mind and hold his views.

I just can't but find it amusing that so many fangirls on both 'sides' seem to think 'their guy' is immune from criticism and entitled to say anything, regardless of whether it's true or who it offences, but the 'other guy' is treated the exact opposite way for the exact same thing.

Of course, in fact, both sides might be right - could be they're all d!cks and deserve each other!

And note, please, I said 'could' - the present conditional - as in "it's possible" - that's all.

Well thank you Father Vickers for such a delightful sermon - I am delighted you shared with us all what amuses you. This was important to know.

However, next time instead of replying to one of my posts, direct it at those who have "criticized' Kennaugh.
Because I have stated several times here that I understand his (and EBHs) reactions.

Why don't you ask him? He is not hard to reach.

But expect a reply where Kimmage would mention he doped 3 times in 87, and then you could ask for tips on fact checking.

Nothing to see here. Cleanest peloton ever. The Sky excuse generator did good work delivering stupid excuses to the faithful. What year is this again?

Bad news. Geraint " It doesn't matter if Lance doped, let him keep his rep and his titles" Thomas retires from the Tour so we cant see just how far that newfound climbing form would have taken him.

Gerrans, stage winner
Nordaugh, strongest attack in the climb.
Rogers, Contador working for him in Dauphiné

Tiernan Locke in Austria, far away of the first.

Come to SKy if you wanna fly!! dont leave, you will be nobody!

Dont go to Astana  (thee first in Austria)

(I dont aseverate anything with Astana, it is quite possible a clean team, but for me is a little suspicious, and with less, people didnt stop to talk about SKY)

Rogers may not be the best rider to support your argument...

Rogers had heath problems last autumn, he was out even with SKy. He has take his time to come back at a high level, but this year he has been second in California and seventh in Dauphiné, and he will improve.

That is not to be nobody. Rogers has a very good career results, except in 2011 cause a mononucleosis.

Walsh has spent four weeks in total with Team Sky as they prepared for this year's Tour where Chris Froome, second last year to Wiggins, who will be absent this time, is regarded the favorite.

The journalist has had to soak up some criticism on Twitter that he has become a "PR agency for Sky" but Walsh remains unabashed.

"They say they're clean. I've seen nothing to make me suspicious that they're telling a lie when they say they're clean, though that doesn't mean that things couldn't be happening behind my back.

"The conclusion I've come to given the time I've spent with them is that they certainly don't have an organized doping program within the team."
